Nikon 7432 Monarch 10 X 42mm All Terrain Binoculars

Purchased these binoculars primarily for hunting. Have just finished a first season with them and they worked really well. They had to be able to handle both distant searches ( up to 800 yards ) and close scans in deep/dark woods ( from 20 - 60 yards mostly ). Their ability to clearly focus and help pick out standing wildlife was better than any other pair I have used except Swarovski's ( which was not significantly better ). The other thing I needed was performance in low/fading light. Excellent again. Very functional glass for the money. Only negative was the pupil eye covers. Olympus Outback 8x21 RC1 Binoculars

I purchased these for use as "opera glasses" rather than for field use. Their light weight (6 oz) makes them easily portable even in a light jacket, though the case comes with a pass-through for attaching to a belt. The clarity and ease of use is typical for Olympus (and above average overall). Next year my sister and her family are going to Africa, and they will be taking them on safari. I have found no shortcomings in my use of them thus far. I would recommend these for anyone but the hardest-core, long distance binocular user.

As a town agency inspecting possible development sites, I needed versatile, fairly rugged, yet budget priced binoculars. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. These Bushnells were built very rugged, were surprisingly clear and easy to use and offered a much better field of view than similar models we had used in the past.
The carrying case could be beefed up a little more if, like me, you tend to toss them in the back of the SUV and head out into the field. The lens caps also were a little skimpy and easy to lose. Celestron Sky Maps

The Celestron Sky Maps make a good adjuct to he SkyScout. They help you with a broader view of the sky in your area and give you a basis to search for objects more easily with the hand held. They "glow" in the dark to make there use on a dark night easier. They can be used alone and replaced older and less user friendly maps I had.

You can see the moon very well but not the start I found that this is a good piece of equipment to have for your children to view the moon

Very nice and clear. Pulls in alot of light. You can look through them at dusk when you cannot make out any details with the naked eye and see things very clear.

This was purchased for my niece who lives in the countryside and enjoys looking at wildlife.I was swayed by the reviews on the Amazon site and purchased them from the UK. The price was very good from Amazon and my niece has said that the binoculars are excellent,east to use and very light.I am looking forward to using them when we visit in 2009.

We got our product quickly & everything seems to be in order. Also, my wife's comfortable with this on her key chain (and she actually gets quite a few compliments from her friends about how cute it looks). Hopefully she'll never have to use it, but it does make us feel a little more secure.
