I prefer a 12x bino and these are great value and excellent clarity. The 42 barrel means it is not too large and bulky. Highly recommend them. Great price and a great product. Not too heavy. Feel great in the hand. Good focusing wheel. The case is not great, but then apart from packing most of the time I would have them around my neck, so no big deal. Very pleased with the purchase.

Pros: Works great in low light, is very easy to operate, bang for your buck.
Cons: I didn't get it sooner.
Uses: Recreational- airsoft, animal viewing, other.
I live in the woods. It is very fun to watch the animals move about at night. I also play airsoft with it.

These are top notch binoculars for a bargain price. The folding design means it will comfortable fit kids, even toddlers, which may not be possible with traditional adult-sized binocs. These fit my whole family and feel like they'll last a very long time!

These are awesome. Never had a nicer pair of binoculars. Thought the price was to good to be true, but I was wrong. Buy them if you can afford it. You will get your moneys worth.

Unfortunately, my review is not particularly good. I purchased (or at least THOUGHT that I purchased) what was promised to be a two-item, grouped product offering. I was actually supposed to get two scopes, and I originally placed the order to get the OTHER one. After all, this thing is really just a toy, and can be had for around ten bucks. I placed the order in late May, and still (mid-July) have not received the bulk of the order. I am told that it was backordered, but apparently that is code for, "We have to find someone who remembers how to make what you ordered and we promised to deliver in two weeks... er....nearly two MONTHS ago." Orion SkyQuest XT4.5 Dobsonian Reflector Telescope

Well, first of all, I think most of these "reviews" are fake. I don't like that at all.

This is a fine, small telescope which can show you planets like Jupiter and Saturn. It gives very faint views of messier objects, like open clusters. You need good eyes to see those.

When it arrived in the mail, I was baffled by all the parts, which didn't look like the parts in the pictures. A skilled carpenter assembled it for me, and he had to use several tools, which I wouldn't have known how to use. So, assembly is complicated.

I now use the telescope every night. I have been looking at the Double Cluster in Perseus recently. The weight is good and makes it very moveable. I am considering getting a larger scope in this ... Read More:

Orion Moon Filter, 13% Transmission, 1.25"

If you've dealt with Orion in the past, you expect quality optics, that are functional without being terribly overpriced. Such is the case with their moon filter as well.

You don't need this filter on smaller phases of the moon, but as the moon approaches full, and gets increasingly brighter, adding this filter will greatly enhance the views by taking the edge off the glare so the details are clearer.

Nikon 8-24x25 Travelite V Zoom Binocular

Finally had a chance to use it. I took it to a concert. The weight is very light (great!) and with it zoomed out, it functioned like normal binoculars. When zoomed in, any movement you make gets enhanced by X24. If you can brace yourself against something steady to view a zoomed in object this is great. Otherwise normal movements make the 24X feature unusable.

Finally if you wear glasses you will need to continually take them off to view through the binocular. Not a big deal, just annoying. Adding image stabilization to this product would be awesome!

Nikon 7508 Travelite 8 X 25mm V Binoculars

First of all, these binocs are very lightweight (but don't feel like a toy) and fold to jacket pocket size, a real plus. Optics also seem to be what I would expect from Nikon. Overall very satisfied for the price. Will probably also buy the higher mag version for home use. Great glasses to take along on a hike for birding etc., esp. if you are also carrying camera gear and don't want to be weighted down.

Bushnell Binocular Cleaning Kit

I like that it's compact and light, my only letdown was the pen, I thought it came with the cleaning head on the opposite end. I have purchased other pens like this (longer) that have a brush on one end and a cleaning head on the other, so I thought this was a compact version of it. It work's for me with my 12x36 canon's holder.
