The smile detection feature is what sealed the deal. Its a great camera. The only warning is it holds 4 pictures without a memory card. I DID find an 8G memory stick duo for like $22 online so that should make it hold about 2k pics.
I didn't find the ISO pics to be too blurry... but I'm not a professional photog, just a mom :)
Anyhow, great camera, great pics. I recommend it based on the value.

I BOUGHT THIS CAMERA SIMPLAY BECAUSE IT WAS CHEAP AND IIT SAID YOU TUBE ONT THE FRONT. BUT IT REALLY SUCKS! WHEN I COMPARED THE PICS TO MY OLD CAMERA MY OLD ONE WHICH WAS AN HP WAS WAYYYYY BETTER. I SENT THE CASIO BACK AND GOT THE CANON. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! SHARP PIUCTURE AND EXCELLENT VIDEO QUALITY. THE CANON IS THE BEST BUY.

The Olympus SP-570UZ is handy, simple to learn to use and produces terrific results. I especially love the crispness of close-ups. I got it because it has a hot shoe but have not used the external flash yet. Otherwise, the 560UZ is just about as good. I highly recommend both of these models, but if you want the extra flash, get the 570UZ.

Buyer beware I ordered this camera based on the reviews however, I found the camera to be less user friendly than the Pentax camera I previously owned. I decided to return the camera but after talking with customer service found that it would cost me $29.00. $20.00 toward restocking and $9.00 to ship my 1pd camera. now I agree the return cost should be mine but give me a break 6ave is just trying to make certain the consumer will keep the camera based on the financial penalty if what your purchase doesn't fit your needs. I'd go through someone else unless your 100% sure of your purchase.

I've had this camera about a month now and really like it. The picture quality is great, it's easy to use and fun as well. I especially like the 'scene' option and use the sports selection when I want to get an action shot, finally I can take pictures of my dogs doing more than sleeping! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the touch option to move between pictures is a bit slow, not a real problem because clicking on the arrow works just fine.

At first blush, I liked the camera a lot - pretty good quality overall. But after using it for a bit, its biggest drawback was apparent - the battery life is terrible. It uses standard AAA batteries, but they just drain down so quickly. In almost a year that I have owned the camera, by my rough calculation, I must have spent half of the camera price in batteries. And I really don't take that many pictures, we only used it on family occassions and other trips once in a while. I would not recommend this camera.
