I bought this frame for my parents Ruby Wedding Anniversary so wanted a quality, substantial frame which looked elegant and was easy to use while incorporating a range of features. This frame hit the mark.
The brushed silver edging on the front looks very attractive and the back has clean lines with good finishing at the corners and any joins. The control buttons respond well to the touch.
Set up was very easy with the included CD and manual and my technologically challenged parents haven't had any problems adding new photos or changing the slideshow.

I bought this frame because I could get pictures off of my computer and put them on it. I did this and that was easy. The problem with this frame is that after about 6 months it started having color issues and the pictures were turning pink and distorted. At 7 months it completely stopped working. It has a 6 month warranty and therefore, I lost $80.00.
I am very disappointed in the quality.

Resolution is not great, but you can certainly see the pictures. We tried using full resolution pictures (multi-megapixel) and slimmed down pictures, but they looked the same. The pictures from our SLR looked much better (less pixelated) than the point-shoot camera. Not sure why that's the case.

The buttons are a bit small. We actually bought this as a gift for my grandfather, and he has a difficult time flipping through the pictures. I wish there was something as simple as the iphone picture viewer at a reasonable price. That is what we were looking for....

As of 6/26/08, the Amazon product description states that this frame has "Easy to use on-screen menus with Alarm Clock features". It does *not* have any alarm clock features. Nor does it have any auto-power on or off features.

Also to note, you can not turn the frame on or off via the remote. And when you turn it back on, it doesn't not remember where it last was in a slideshow, or the mode you were in (slideshow vs. individual pictures).

The resolution was 800x600 and was ok in quality. The frame does feature a non-replaceable rechargeable battery.

If the price for this frame was half of what it is listed for, this might be a good buy. As it stands today, I'd pass.
