Screen is bright and overall the controls seem easy to use. Digital picture frames in general are a great way to get pictures out of the camera and into a environment where people can see them and enjoy them. Overall I am happy with this product but I was surprised by one omission. There is no way to rotate (permanently) an image within the picture frame. If you rotate your camera to take a picture you will need to rotate it back using the camera or other software to get it oriented properly. Not a big deal, but I bought the frame for someone for whom this will be challenging. Perhaps not a flaw, but an omission to be aware of.

Don't buy!!! Beware!!! JUNK JUNK JUNK 8" Pandigital Photo Frame is JUNK! Would have rated it a 0 if I could. I have had this for 10 months and rarely use it - mainly just when I have company over. I use it about once every 2 weeks and even then only for a couple of hours. After 10 months it won't even turn on and Pandigital won't do anything for me. They do not have a repair facility so once it goes out, it is a $150 piece of trash. When it did work, the picture was great and the different ports were nice but this thing cost me $5 per hour to run before it went completely dead. The attourney general and better business bureau have a letter on the way... Completely dissatisfied with the company and the product.

Pros:
- Good Resolution, good picture quality. It is difficult to find any other picture frame in this

- It displays normal 4*3 pictures in its widescreen display without distorting them.

- Can be carried around the world as the power adapter is 110 to 240 Volts compatible.

- music and video are as good as the picture quality

- good remote

Cons:

- I would have liked it even better if it could be operated with batteries.

I absolutely love this frame. Got it as a gift and was surprised that it had a 1024x768 resolution. So much nicer than my smaller frames. I noticed that some people are complaining about the interface, but I rarely use the interface. Just plug in an SD card with my favorite Flickr photos downloaded and let it slideshow continuously. I have a lot of tech friends and every single party we have, someone notices it and is surprised by the quality of photos.

I did some research on digital picture frames but had no experience with using one. I decided on the SONY because of its looks, high resolution and other features such as HDMI output and AutoCorrection of pictures.
On opening the box, the frame is VERY attractive and high-quality and will look great in any decor. I removed the 4GB SDHC card from my camera, pushed it into the correct slot and attached the powercord. Once I hit the on button, I immediately saw my pictures...it couldn't have taken even five minutes.
The picture is stunning and the frame is great looking and has many features...I don't know how this compares to others but it has everything I could conceivably need. If you don't expect to use HDMI and don't want the AutoCorrection capability, ... Read More:

The product is as described and very nice looking. At first I counldn't get the memory card to read which was very upseting. I switched to a different card and it worked so i am very happy with it now. The remote is easy to work and am very happy with what i got for the price.

I looked hard for a large electronic picture frame. I wanted one to mount above my fireplace on a 22 ft high wall that would not be lost in all that space. This product is awesome. The picture quality is awesome! Everyone who comes in comments on how incredible the frame is and where did I get it.
