The picture quality and video quality on this frame is excellent, sharp and clear and very impressive. I must say that I could not get the Optipix Pro software to work, maybe its me but I tried everything I could think of with no dice. I ended up dragging and dropping pictures to the internal memory of the frame and that was fast and easy. I will be using some 1 GB SD cards to load photos onto and then using those for slide shows, as that way you can keep the slide shows fresh. The learning curve on this photo frame isn't too bad even though the instruction manual is poor, but contains enough information to let you know how to navigate the menus. The part is not actually packed in the box; if you want one you request it, as I did, and the company quickly mails one to you. The two interchangeable frames are handsome, and the display accepts several kinds of memory modules as well as USB memory sticks for input and to supplement its 256Mb internal memory.

I received this from my daughter at Christmas. Started to use about Feb '08. Started to give problems about Aug'08 and self destructed Oct'08.
Made in China. Can't they make something that you don't have to throw away in "special" trash that lasts more than a year or 2. This just sat on the desk, no movement,ect First to go was the Menu buttons,ect. Instructions have always been incomplete. Used a flashdrive with it the whole time.
Would not buy another.

The frame is nice looking and the touch screen borders were the selling point. However, the touch controls were very slow in response. The screen would freeze up and sometimes it would not read the memory card. Perhaps we might have gotten a defective one, but we returned it to Amazon and will purchase one with a more reliable remote control.

I bought this frame for my parents Ruby Wedding Anniversary so wanted a quality, substantial frame which looked elegant and was easy to use while incorporating a range of features. This frame hit the mark.
The brushed silver edging on the front looks very attractive and the back has clean lines with good finishing at the corners and any joins. The control buttons respond well to the touch.
Set up was very easy with the included CD and manual and my technologically challenged parents haven't had any problems adding new photos or changing the slideshow.

I picked this Digital Photo Frame up at a local retailer for just under $50. For the price it's not a bad buy. I don't own any other digital frames, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but here goes...

Firstly, the black really does go with almost any decor. The bad thing is, dust seems to go very very well with the black. I find myself dusting this thing daily to keep it looking nice and shiny.

Next up is the input options, including SD, Memory Stick and USB. I'm pretty impressed that something this inexpensive can take any of those three formats, honestly.
