The pictures on the web for this video light do not convey the actual size of this light and its battery pack. The light in the picture looks big compared to the battery. However, the light is actually smaller than the battery pack. The light is 2.75in Wide x 1.75in Tall x 3in Deep (excluding the mount, which is 2in tall). However, the battery pack is a heavy 3.5in Wide x 4.25in Tall x 2.5in Deep. Also, the battery charger is old-school and has to be timed and unplugged to keep it from overcharging the battery. One other thing, if you are looking for a really bright light, you might want to choose another light. With both bulbs on it's only 40watts. Beware the one you'll receive is not the one in the picture. That aside it does attach with heavy duty tape not Velcro. Some may come with tape some with Velcro I don't know, mine came with tape. I have taken practice shots with it in the house and the shots look great. As for the quality its not the strongest thing in the world but for 20 (13.95 + shipping) bucks can you complain for a two in one that comes with two different bounces, one large one small. The bounce is so lite weight that I doubt it will ever break off and if the attachment does fall off just super glue it back on.

The product arrived quickly and in perfect conditions. The disadvantage is the package does not include the screw to attach the weight to the camera. So, it's still sitting unused since I cannot find where to buy this special screw! I cannot get it online for some reason! Wouldn't be easier to charge 2 more bucks and add the screw to the package??

The product arrived quickly and in perfect conditions. The disadvantage is the package does not include the screw to attach the weight to the camera. So, it's still sitting unused since I cannot find where to buy this special screw! I cannot get it online for some reason! Wouldn't be easier to charge 2 more bucks and add the screw to the package??

This is the first external flash I have owned with a zoom feature and it works great with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 camera. I have not mastered all of the features yet, but so far, I have been able to take excellent, well lit shots from about 25 feet using the default ISO of 100. I have yet to try higher ISO speeds to see if I can be even farther away. I take a lot of pictures in church during services (weddings, baptisms, funerals, etc) and really want to be out of the lime light (to use a photographer's term!!) so I shoot from as far back as I can. The church lighting usually doesn't contribute much so I depend of the flash head to handle it all and this has done a good job so far.
