This is a very good filter. I had a B+W filter that broke when a friend dropped my camera. I decided to try this Canon filter and I am impressed by its performance.

Everything was great about this camera except the sound during videos. It was awful. I returned the camera.

Good:

1 star for nice look, light weight, and small size that you can carry easily.

1 star for better Video Record (1280*720)


Poor

1. Pirce too high

2. poor indoor shooting

3. touch screen doest respond fast enough

4. menu setting too much and not too easy to use



finally, I ship back to buy a canon xsi instead.

The camera meets the expectations drawn from the published literature. The documentation, however, is less than satisfactory. I am particularly displeased with the detail relating to the use over the internet. My camera ceased operation over the internet a week after I left home. Nothing in the literature explains the fault or offers a method of correction. Kudos for Amazon's posting of the Panasonic installation video.

God bless China and all her wonderful cheaply-crafted electronics that sell for a tiny fraction of their brand-name counterparts. I am the sometimes proud owner of several Sony digital cameras. Nothing sucks more than hindsight. And hindsight, you see, requires time and experience.

In my case, Time means a few months, and experience means I bought a 40D.

Does this camera just ROCK!!!??? Is it AWESOME!!!??? Don't you just LOVE IT!!!???

GREAT! I will never know. My 40D makes me money, takes good stuff, works with my legacy glass, and makes me happy. But this whole 15.1MP-brighter-LCD-"oooh-I-just-love-my-50D" thing makes me sick. All the people saying "it not sharp!" and " what the big deal?" make me happy! Make me feel I made a GOOD choice...

Sigh. Jealousy is ugly, isn't it?

Canon Remote Switch RS60 E3

This remote works terrific. I have used it to make my own passport photos. I suggest that you buy the wireless remote as well for shots when you are further away from the camera. This remote will work well with a tripod and a telephoto lens to take pictures of the night sky.

I will give you storage of about 200 photos, even on the high ISO setting. It is a handy card to have. On my old camera with only 6 megapixels, I could have stored thousands. You will enjoy this card.
