The software was quite an improvement over the previous version I had. The Amazon process for purchase and delivery went smooth. They delivered ahead of schedule. The only flaw was that 3 weeks later they dropped the price almost $20. Who knew?! I would have waited! Oh well!!

When we received the software it wouldn't work and we had to return it. There was no problem returning the item and getting refunded. The seller was very pleasant and easy to work with.

what kind of a company rewards loyal users by putting up a roadblock to productivity? this is the worst software 'upgrade' i have ever seen, and I've been using software for the past 20 years. yes, there are additional useful features. yes, there are fixes to previous limitations. but no, they did not have to be implemented with a completely new UI. The office ribbon is like GM taking the steering wheel and putting it on the other side of the car, and calling that a better car, though indeed, the new car has a better engine. WTF? why would anyone approve this without at least having an option, add-in, or whatever work around to go back to the classic menus? unfortunately this is a business school case worthy example of how not to treat your ... This is truly the best version of Office yet. It is much more faster and much more stable than any version.

The new Ribbon interface makes everything nice and easy to find. No more digging through all the annoying nested menus. You want formatting options, click the formatting tab. All the formatting possibilities are there.

I say grats to MS for finally starting to get things right. Keep it up.

This is a typical Microsoft product loaded with stuff that 98% of people don't want, need, or use. I prefer Word 2000 but you can't buy it any more. I had to buy this to put on a new computer which is the only reason I bought it. Also, the Amazon price was the cheapest I found.

This was a questionable review. I had XP and didn't know whether the upgrade would make me more current so that I would be more easily able to upgrade to Window' new product coming in a number of months. The upgrade really did bring me closer to Vista, but I've had a number of problems that have caused me to need to reinstall the upgrade.
