Works great, we really liked it. Pretty easy to use, just have everything organized prior to starting. Some people complain that you have to buy a new version every year, but compared to the cost of paying our accountant every year we will happily pay for this.

This product was very easy to use. I have multiple situations, emloyee, several side hobbies/businesses, etc. and the program was still easy to use with no glitches. I would buy it again. I also purchased a new computer with Windows Vista and loaded the program and still not problems.

I've been using TC for about 15 years. During this time my returns have become increasingly complex as my business has expanded (sole proprietorships, office buildings) and my personal situation has changed (elderly parents needing assistance, children in/out of college/jobs). TC has been able to handle most of this, but this year I ran into some serious problems. Here they are:

1. It's always difficult to coax TC into calculating Fed estimated taxes for the new tax year. This problem continues.

2. Whenever hypertext or help is selected, the program responds with a script error. The help screen can be accessed, but the script error message must first be cleared. This becomes increasingly annoying as the return is prepared, ... Read More:

I ordered TurboTax Federal and unlike last year this comes WITHOUT state. When I attempted to load state the product prompted for an ADDITIONAL $34.95. So I contacted them by e-mail (twice), on-line help (twice), and phone (twice). Guess what? Three of the six inquiries were something like "well the states are not available yet but they'll be free", two were "look at our website for descriptions of the product" which I'd BEEN using for years, and the last was it was all a mixup and it was "not free." So fortunately Amazon was VERY, VERY UNDERSTANDING and did what TurboTax refused to do and took it back. I switched to TaxCut. When I called them they provided REAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT! Go TaxCut!
