I brought this program because I thought that it would give me detailed information concerning chemistry math which is what I was looking for and needed at the time. I did not find it to be very much help to me in the math section but was basically okay for the detailed chemistry section.

PhysicsTutor Excalibur is a great way to develop and test knowledge of basic concepts in physics, throughout high school and even in college. As a high school sophomore, I swore by ChemTutor Excalibur to help me prepare for chapter tests, midterms, and finals. Because of that experience, I thought of PhysicsTutor as a freshman at Yale taking advanced introductory physics courses. I knew I needed something to help me with the more basic concepts behind the complicated homework and exam questions I was struggling to answer.

While the things I learned through PhysicsTutor Excalibur did not relate as closely to the material I was being tested on as it did in my chemistry class as a high school student, PhysicsTutor still provided me ... Read More:

Just ask questions and give answers. If you don't already know the subject matter asking questions does not tutor you.

Mia's Science Adventure: Romaine's New Hat

My daughter is 7 and really enjoyed the adventure. We have a mac and it played well. There were a few delays when loading/reading from the disk, but she enjoyed discovering all the elements and jewels throughout. there are age appropriate levels of difficulty. I would not buy it for someone any younger unless they are very precocious.

I think I was hoping for more from this program. I wish I could have veiwed it before I bought it. It's a little to basic. I am a nursing student and I was looking for a good review program with more information and a more interactive format.

I am giving this one star based on the sell price stated by these resellers. The product itself is decent - especially when you can buy it for what it was originally sold for - $39.99. Now that the product is no longer offered by the publisher & was closed out, resellers like the ones listed on this page take advantage of that fact by inflating the legitmate MSRP & are essentially ripping you off by making you beleive that the product sells for more than it actually does. You can also guess that if it is a title that is no longer avaible, there may be compatibility issues as well.
