I am a beginning scriptwriter and I found the software easy to use, and undestandable - however, it does on occasion crash, so I put my automatic save at 3 minutes. Also, you have to think twice when saving, because the fdr files can only be edited in Final Draft, so you need to make a rich text backup as well. But, let me tell you if you are looking for a way to save time - this is the product you want to get

I've written screen plays many years ago, but this is the first time I've used a software package to write this type of format. I am used to using different software packages, and using Screenwriter was an easy transition.
The manual that comes with it was very useful, but I was able to start writing my movie script almost immediately, which means that the user interface for Screenwriter was user friendly.
I haven't had to use all of its features, but writing and formatting is very easy and its exporting to PDF worked flawlessly.

I am always concerned when I add "anything" extra or special to my laptop. Will the software which I am considering ultimately be the final "coup de grace" which sends my whole system over the edge, figuratively? Then where will I be? Sitting helplessly as my laptop swears at me and leaves town once again? I hate that, and it makes me timid. My watchword concerning computers tends to be this: avoid adding anything to a computer you own which is actually in any sort of working order.
We go through laptops like other households go through cheesy poofs, and it's alwas a time consuming mess to get one fixed. And we are always, always doing that, because we have a lot of enthusiastic kids, and they LOVE computers. So...is it surprising when ... Read More:

Though I've never sold a screenplay, I keep writing them, keep trying, and my tool is Final Draft. This is an awesome piece of screenwriting software, perfect for a screenwriter wannabe like me. I have been using it for a long time now. The software formats your screenplay for you in proper format, which is invaluable and it saves you oodles of time. It also comes with several other features that help you write the best screenplay you can. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to be a screenwriter, or already is one and worries about formatting.

The Bad: The scans are of old comic books (not the Marvel original artwork) and they include the staple holes! They also include various graffitti such as ink stamps from a local comic book store - surely a better copy could have been found. A comparison between the first Fantastic 4 comic online at Marvel.com and the same comic on DVD shows that the online version is much more vibrant and colorful. A little more work (such as using photoshop to get rid of those damn staple holes) would have made this collection a lot more attractive.
The Good: You own the comics (you can only view, not download, online). You also get the ads from the comic books as they appeared originally - making them a virtual time machine.

I'm not sure why it is SO hard to find a program that will rip chapters from a DVD (successfully that is). I have had no luck. Magix is just another one, but you may want to consider that the function I'm interested in may not relate to your purpose, just know that:
When you go to rip DVD chapters, the program will only allow you to select ONE FILE AT A TIME. No shift and select multiple chapters, it would take you forever to capture anything that was not an analog signal or directly from DV tape. Anything else is useless.

I installed it on my primary PC in my computer room with the following spec. Asus P5B deluxe mobo, Q9550, 4GB DDR2-800, nVidia GTX 260. Recording on a Seagate 7200.10 500GB SATA2 HD and watching on a Dell 2709W.
Setup. Fairly straight forward. Insert CD, Plug in USB tuner, decline window driver search and click tuner driver on the CD. Once that is done. Install the Liquid TV software and you are almost ready to go.
Launch the application and you are greeted with a first time setup menu much like any other Tivo product. Setup the remote, enter zip code, your Tivo subscription code, select the tuner you want to use and go thru channel scan and you are good to go. (I'm using the same OTA antenna that I use for my HD Tivo)

After Deathly Hallows, I was HP-drunk, and when I saw this, there was no way I wouldn't buy it.
Overall, it was alright. For a first attempt, it wasn't bad, but there are definately improvements that could be made.
First of all, control is limited. While you control left and right, and have some control over your speed, you don't really control the third dimension. (Up and down)
Also, once you get the hang of it, gameplay is very easy. Too easy. We're talking I squished my opponent ten out of ten times. It's actually funner playing head to head against a friend, though scoring is sparse in those games.
If I could go back, would I buy it again? Sure. There are good aspects to the game, and if your a Harry Potter fan, you'll ... Read More:

Many of the covers, arguably the highlight of a comic, have "NOT TO BE SOLD" stamped on them. For this price they should have used clean copies.
