The VMware Fusion latest beta version is working real well on my OS Leopard MacPro. The 1.1.3 version did not meet my needs as I could not get the program that I needed to get to run, and created a error on the program I was trying to run (WinAPRS). I re-download the beta and it is working fine for me now. The WX data is getting to this program fine too. I am using Keyspan 4 port serial and I wish I could have Mac control of one or two of these port on the Mac side and the other two on the Windows XPpro side. I am sure that is asking allot.
I guess the other option is to get another serial port adapter, but my 4 port USB is filled up too. I am using the front port for my (old) DC2080 Panasonic digital camera USB to serial adapter(CablesToGo) ... Read More:

like the product....wish it was a little more editable but it is effective and it works well with other programs unlike some of the other major players and works well on a Vista 64 based system.

Plus you can use it on up to three computers!
I like this better than Norton System works which I used to use.

I switched to a mac so I no longer have to worry about viruses.

McAffee only issues refunds within the first 30 days, so I didn't even consider it.

Several months later I received an email from McAffee several months later that I'd been charged $39.95 for my autorenewal and I spent about 30 minutes trying to cancel it. For me, that is unacceptable.

First I went to the website, and realized you CAN'T cancel on the website. You have to chat, email, or talk with a customer service representative.

I tried to "chat" but after submitting my request they required that I download the chat software. But they don't support Macs.

Norton Antivirus 2008 1 User

I've never been a fan of Norton products, but unfortunately I have to use them on several computers at work. While I don't have a formal education in computers, I've built several of them from scratch, am an early adopter of things like Vista 64-bit, and spend a lot of time reading about them. Frankly, Norton anti-virus uses so much system resources it should be classified as bloatware, or even malware.

If you want your computer to run 30% slower, buy it. If you want your computer to run 10-15% slower, buy Macafee. If you want your computer protected from viruses and to run at peak efficiency, download one of the excellent, free virus software suites that are available.

this product was the first and the only antivirus software i use! i started using this in 2003 or something and works great and has improved tremendously throughout the years.

I've even sold this software on amazon in the new condition a couple of times and is sold within 2days!! sorry, but i can't tell you how i acquired this product to sell on amazon for such a low price unopened. seller secret!

About three months ago I purchased this product after reading an article (Consumer Reports, I think) giving this very high marks in many of the critical areas of computer protection. What the article did not say is how much this protection slowed email and other computer functions. It was not uncommon to take more than five minutes to boot the machine and receive fewer than one-half dozen messages. After two months I couldn't take it any more and went back to Norton. Never again!

BitDefender Antivirus 2008 - 2 Year/3 Pc's

I have been using Norton's product ever since I've been using home computers. I always just purchased a new version instead of renewing online with Norton, because it was cheaper. I finally broke out and after much researching reviews, I went with BitDefender because of the consensus of reviews and the great price offered by Amazon (usable on 3 pcs). I installed it on my Vista desktop and my XP notebook. So far so good after several weeks. None of the horror stories I read in some reviews, in fact, it found some issues on both my computers which Norton did not. The only issue is on the Vista PC which it's installed windows defender does not recognize BitDefender as the installed virus program.
