This software was fine to use UNTIL I tried loading pictures into the calendar. THEN it bogged up my computer (which has well-beyond all the recommended specs for running this software) and it was completely unusable!!! A friend even tried it on their brand-new computer, same problem. If there are even 1-2 pictures in your calendar it will take 5-10 MINUTES to even load it, then you have a 50% chance of the program freezing up. A terrible purchase, I DO NOT recommend it!!!!!

Yet another sequel to the original and original part 2....nothing much new in the game really....updated graphics some items newer but really its not a very new invention...
Is it good? Yeah. Its ok...Would be great if they could do more...more in depth stuff....but overall its ok.
I am defintely looking forward to a new generation of these games that will leave the sequel junkies in the dirt....just need to find a company willing to use some fresh new ideas rather than hashing up old games and updating them to repackage them as "Newly Created"

I purchased this product for my daughter who is almost 3 years old. I had tried other products but she had some difficulty with them and was frustrated. I had used this product for my older children when they were young and it was a big hit with them, so I thought I'd try it with her. In no time, she was playing by herself and LOVING IT!! She loves the 'puter' now and the games are alot of fun for her!! This was a big hit!!!!

Our third grader is hooked on the World game, despite being occasionally challenged by it, and enjoyed the DVD enough to request more than one viewing of it. So although we haven't even tried out the USA game yet, I think we got our money's worth, if not more.
We're using an older computer with XP, and had no installation problems. The "Where in the World" game runs just fine for us; if we have problems with the USA version I'll come back to make a note here, but so far this purchase has been great.
The storyline in the game has just enough mystery and suspense, plus the thrill of gathering clues and eventually discovering hidden secrets, to be perfect fun for this age group, which the manufacturer lists as 8-12.

I played the previous installments of the Dracula games so I knew what to expect in the gameplay. This is a basic point and click game where you go around having to solve problems to advance the plotline. There is substantially more dialogue in this game to include a choice in your questions and answers though what you choose to say has no effect on the direction of the game. Some of the dialogue can drag on and you get to the point where you just want to move forward.
Like previous games, some of the puzzles are just incredibly frustrating and don't make any sense. Some of these puzzles require long bouts of trial and error. Or you can find an online guide to show you how to get through.

I haven't had a lot of opportunity to use Calendar Creator 12 Deluxe yet, but it has worked well so far. It is easy to get around in. Icons "make sense". It would be nice if the roller wheel on my mouse could move the page up and down. You have to click on the button on the side bar to do that.

I found the Printmaster Platinum 16 to be relatively user friendly, even for those who haven't tried using similar products before. But I also found it frustrating to frequently change the CD while attempting to create a card because the particular image needed was stored on a different one. I have changed the CD up to 3 times just for one card. I've used other printing programs where all the images were stored on the same CD, which was much more convenient. I'm not sure if 4 CD's are used because there is such a large volume of images available. I did enjoy having many more graphic images to select from than I'd had in the past.

I've had earlier versions of Print Shop before and was looking forward to this version as it said it was Vista compatible. Unfortunately it did not work with Vista, even with the recommended patch. If you have Vista, wait until they get the bugs worked out.
