Hoyle Card Games 2007 [OLD VERSION]

This is a great software for quickly learning games that you're not familiar with. It does NOT, however, meet the visual and audio standards of any PC game in the last 10 years at least. It has a nice feature to earn 'Hoyle Bucks' to spend on different graphics, sounds and opponents. This system does not always work, unfortunately, making the games less fun and interesting.

Family Tree Maker 2008 Platinum [OLD VERSION]

The FTM Version I had wouldn't work with MS Vista so I chose this new version to load and learn before I had to upgrade to a new operating system. It is a little hard to get used to the new screens, but after working with it a bit I think it is going to be great.
Like the way the trees print out. Awesome.

It plays well, it is challenging but can be done and has a lot of fun with different challenges in it. I also like that it is mixed up with harder screens and easier screens mixed all through it so you don't get overwhelmed with constant hard ones. I have about worn my copy out from playing it so much. It's great!

High School Advantage 2009

One quiz question had the correct answer listed twice, but only one would mark correctly. The software is not easy to use, and comes with no help or directions, and if you run it on Vista, the help buttons do not work. I wish I had bought something else.

I'm not a fan of any of the paper or embellishments included with the program, fortunatly an pngs or jpgs work on the program which is fairly user friendly (it just takes a while to initially load).

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones, my disc was not blank (I didn't read the reviews first), but it didn't help much because the first step before you can use the product is to register it, using the license code.

Unfortunately, there is no license code anywhere to be found. Not on the box, not on the disc, nor on the website.

There is no customer support to ask.

Hence, the product is totally unusable. Thirty bucks down the toilet.

Sacred Underworld

I found "Sacred" for ten dollars at Walmart and decided to give it a try.
Needless to say I'm hooked! I purchased "Sacred Underworld" from Amazon and love it even more. The addition of the Dwarf and the Daemon is great. A horse is useful, but the Dwarf can't ride a horse. He has other amazing skills, such as mortar grenade and flame thrower which make him a great character to play with. The Daemon is fun as well. I've played with each character and I love the Battle Mage best, a wizard who uses nature's elements as well as staves and swords to defend himself. Also as you proceed you obtain special items in green that when you get a set or even mix the items can add power and defenses to yor character.
