This game is an old favorite of mine and seemed ground breaking to me when they it was new, but by today's standards, the AI and unit tracking is horrible. Still very fun and addicting however. This boxed set is a great value.

MasterCook Deluxe 9.0

I consider myself pretty techie but this software is hard to use. I see a recipe I'd like to add to my menu plan and I have to go out of the cookbook and back into the menu plan and add it. I'm not expecting drag and drop (although how cool would that be?) but tedious to build a plan. Then menu plan vs. meal plan and confusing term swaps. It also wants to add ingredients in it's own way--making me tab through to add things the way I want (cheese in ounces vs. slices). Maybe I didn't study it enough but I've just been very challenged in using it so far. I'm sticking with my pencil and paper and xerox copies of recipes I like!

Age of Mythology: Including Titans Expansion

Bought this game new and everything seemed to be going fine, until I tried to get online and play with friends (the whole reason I bought the game), only to get the message that my CD key could not be validated.

All their technical support said was:
Unfortunately, we no longer have keys available for replacement in this game. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

How disappointing, and to make it worse they just simply ignored all further inquiries including how I might get a refund. Stay a way from this game! And I'd suggest you consider avoiding ever buying anything from this publisher too--they seem to have no problem with selling you something that doesn't work and leaving you out to dry.

X-Plane v 9.0

I dare you to find a customer service phone number anywhere in their literature or website. I've had the product for two weeks and have been exchanging emails with their "customer service" for most of that period. No joy. I've got 16GB free on two year old Windows XP machine built for high end graphics use and can't even get it to install. I've never seen a company so good at avoiding direct contact with paying customers. Buyer beware!

Hearts of Iron Anthology

Do other strategy seem to simplistic? Did you ever wish you had more freedom? Did you ever want to conquer the world, not just the battlefield? Well Hearts of Iron II is the answer to your desires. But it is not for the meek, this game is seriously complex and a massively steep learning curve. I've been playing for two years and I still don't know half of the magic going on behind the scenes. In order to play this you're going to have to be passionate about history and have enough imagination to look beyond the lack of pretty 3d armies.

This is a cute game...I can safely let my kids play this without supervision. Fun. Better with the wheel accessory.

An extensive and challenging game. However, outside of game controls, there are no instructions as how to play the game. If it was not for information obtained in forums, I would have been at a complete loss.

18 Wheels of Steel : American Long Haul

My kids say this game is a lot better than other trucking games they've played. The graphics are pretty good and the action is realisitic. (When you go through a red light or speed, the police give chase.) However, it gets repetitive after a while. For example, once you've hired a new driver for your trucking job, there's always plenty of cash available without you having to do anything. Overall, though, it's a decent game and they enjoy playing it.

Mission: Runway

I'm an avid Project Runway fan and I enjoy fashion very much. While I really enjoy this game, I do believe it could've been better. Okay, I'll further explain...

The game can be played in 2 different modes. The Competition mode is where you compete against different designers and you are given a specific challenge, just like in Project Runway. Then you have to compete on the runway against the other designers in the challenge. On the runway you are judged by 3 different judges. There are several different fabric choices, textures, accessories, shoes and fabric styles to choose from. Pros for me are the wide fabric selection and the make-up choices.

Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader

This game is a good time passer. It's definitely not "Jeopardy". The big problem I have with it is the graphics. Jeff Foxworthy's image, as well as those of the children, are zombielike. I am also unhappy with the script that Mr. Foxworthy reads. It is sarcastic and borders on vicious, especially to children who might want to play this game. All in all, this game was a disappointment.
