This is a great tool for learning the language via immersion. Rather than teaching through a structural method in which the mechanics and vocabulary of any given language are laid out in an organized manner, with Rosetta stone you learn mostly through pictures and figuring things out on your own.

This works really well as a means of forcing you to confront and use the language based on hearing, rather than reading, but I personally have found that it still works better as just a supplement to a more traditional structural textbook approach to learning the language. Rosetta Stone is an excellent product. I have used other language learning products and Rosetta Stone is the best by far. It moves quickly and builds upon itself in a logical manner. I recommend it to anyone who asks.

I'm StoryMaker, and I've been enjoying JumpStart products since I was in Kindergarten. When I saw JumpStart Typing (which I had already researched plenty about) at the library, I got it - mostly not for me, but for one of my sisters, Chocolate Dog, who, no offence meant, isn't exactly the world's most utterly and overly fantastic typist. I didn't think this would benefit me a lick 'cause, no bragging meant, I'm a pretty speedy, pretty accurate typist. Because C-Dog didn't show much interest in it at first, I played it. It's great!

The Basic Storyline

Math Class Arithmetic for Grades K-8

This is a very well designed math teaching tool. Each lesson has a clear and concise explanation of each concept with a drill that gives immediate feedback. I recommend this not only for younger students just learning math concepts, but also for older students who need a "refresher".

Learning a new language is hard and can be discouraging. I have tried other language products and even classes but Rosetta Stone with Audio Companion makes learning much easier and even enjoyable. I go through a few lessons at night and then listen to the Audio Companion the next day on my way to and from work. It amazes me how I can visualize what I just learned the night before when I listen to the Audio Companion. This is definitely the fastest way to learn a new language.

This game is good for the price---the first 3 games are good for beginners, the last 3 are a little more challenging. The games aren't real exciting, but good enough.
