I had older versions and used them on several of MY computers. This version installed on both my laptop (great for travel) and desktop, but when my laptop crashed and I bought a new one, I was not allowed to install a 3rd time. I called tech support and was told I should use all lower case for the key code even when the key code is shown in caps and installed properly the first time using caps. I asked for a supervisor who then told me I was allowed only ONE installation!!!

What idiots!! Although I really like Streets and Trips I will no longer upgrade. I have a Garmin and a Dash, so it is not a big issue for me (except that I wasted my money).

I am going to install 2008 and go back to 2007.

My wife previously used Create-A-Card greeting card software on a windows computer until they stopped making the program for installation on a computer. She then switched to the Hallmark program but found she could not use her saved Create-A-Card greeting cards with the Hallmark program. As soon as we loaded the Printmaster program onto our "XP" windows computer it automatically found and imported her old saved Create-A-Card greeting cards

Pros: Easy to install, large selection of greeting cards, works with saved Create-A-Card greeting cards, many other features besides greeting cards

Cons: Graphics not as good as those in the Hallmark program

The idea of such a program is good. The programs fails miserably. If you have never touched a computer you may get some really basic intruction, therefore I have generously awarded two stars. The problem is with the funtioning of the course. At least half of the exercises do not work for either the correct nor incorrect responses. If the progrtams were cleaned up, it might be a worthwhile tool, but as it is now don't waste your money. Get an instruction book.

I use this product as an substuite for my kids who's age range is 4-8.This product has such a joyful varitey of activities that it is used everyday. I recommaned this product for those students who struggle withsimple concepts or just for fun.

I got this so my son could get ready for his bar mitzvah. It has been very helpful to him. My husband and I are also interested in learning to chant the Hebrew scriptures and will find this very helpful. My husband likes that it has the musical notes since he reads music to sing and will find that very helpful for him. I love the large choice of styles of chanting and that the speed can be adjusted. You can also choose to have the music played with it. That is something that is helpful for me. It really can be customized for whatever learning style you are.

I purchased this software in June 08 from Amazon.com. After the install I was impressed with the software capabilites. With real time views from your zip code to views from other parts of space. It makes finding the constellations easier than I could have ever imagined and bring up specific galaxies, stars, novas, comets and a whole host of other bodies with a simple check. After a couple of hours of playing it became very user freindly. However, I run it on a 2005 Sony VAIO with XP, 120 GB hard drive, over 1 GB of RAM and standard processor. I plan to hook it up to my Orion telescope and test the other abilities. Again, it works great in XP.

Ruff's Bone

We had several of these Living Books for my young daughter, now age 10. However, Ruff's Bone was the best. Ruff had great adventures looking for his bone, and we had a great time exploring everything on each page.

Be warned, though. We had to give away all our Living Books when we got a new computer with XP. They just didn't work on the new OS.

I really love this program. I am learning a lot, I've had to put it on hold because of school work but I don't think I'll forget what I've learned. It's a really unique and effective way to learn a new language.
