I'm very disappointed in this product. I'm a homeschooler who wanted her children to learn a second language. Little did I know navigating through this program you would need a computer class just to figure it out. We've had this for over a month & although we did figure out how to use it eventually I don't think the program was worth all the hassle.

Useful, but a little difficulty getting started. Even with Vista I still had to go online and get a couple of downloads to run the program. The software is good though, being able to hear the words spoken is very helpful.

PhysicsTutor Excalibur is a great way to develop and test knowledge of basic concepts in physics, throughout high school and even in college. As a high school sophomore, I swore by ChemTutor Excalibur to help me prepare for chapter tests, midterms, and finals. Because of that experience, I thought of PhysicsTutor as a freshman at Yale taking advanced introductory physics courses. I knew I needed something to help me with the more basic concepts behind the complicated homework and exam questions I was struggling to answer.

Hello, I'm StoryMaker, a JumpStart fan. JumpStart Advanced 1st Grade was among the first JumpStart games I've owned; only JumpStart Kindergarten (Deluxe, not Advanced, version) predates it. This program will not run on Windows Vista. I know the mimimum requirements say 98/2000/XP, but I bought other products with the same requirements and I got them running with one of the compatibility options. I've tried everything with this, but it would not save. And then, support is not available anymore. I thought a good idea to spend only $10 instead of $60 (another one I was considering to buy), but it was not a good idea. I'll dump this one now and go for the other one.

Very helpful for the basics. Portable too, you can load it on lap top and don't have to keep reinserting cd-rom. Loads quickly too.
