Nothing to complain about here. It is clip art/photos by the pound. Especially, if you are a web designer, you'll find more than enough artwork for nearly every imaginable purpose. Like all massive collections, you'll find lots of dated, low rez images, but the quantity of images and value of the collection make it a "must have" for most graphic designers. (Okay if you are a doing super high quality print designing, you won't find any useable image here, but you probably know that all ready. But for the price, it still is a great graphic reference.

Nero Liquid TV

I installed it on my primary PC in my computer room with the following spec. Asus P5B deluxe mobo, Q9550, 4GB DDR2-800, nVidia GTX 260. Recording on a Seagate 7200.10 500GB SATA2 HD and watching on a Dell 2709W.

Setup. Fairly straight forward. Insert CD, Plug in USB tuner, decline window driver search and click tuner driver on the CD. Once that is done. Install the Liquid TV software and you are almost ready to go.

Launch the application and you are greeted with a first time setup menu much like any other Tivo product. Setup the remote, enter zip code, your Tivo subscription code, select the tuner you want to use and go thru channel scan and you are good to go. (I'm using the same OTA antenna that I use for my HD Tivo)

Was able to use it on an old Windows PC but it will not install on a Mac as advertised. The seller took my word for it and refunded some of the money.

It's very nice on the PC though.

The reason I bought it instead of a general desktop publishing program is that this includes a lot of customization and templates that general packages do not offer. Besides I don't need to publish brochures right now though I did in 1988 with other Desktop Publishing software on the Mac.

This will work with Vista, even though it doesn't say it, if you download additional drivers from Microsoft called "Windows Help (WinHlp32.exe)" for Vista. An easier way would be to go to the novadevelopment dot com website and click support and look for the link.

It works beautifully on Vista for me.

Scooby-Doo: Jinx at the Sphinx

We borrowed several of the Scooby Doo Case File games from our local library. I was trying to decide whether to purchase them. My son is a HUGE Scooby fan, so I figured if the games are easy enough for a 3 year old and can hold his attention then I'd buy them.

First, the graphics and voices are true to the tv show, so this game really holds my son's attention. I like that there are 3 levels of difficulty. We stuck to the "spooky" (easy) level.

The main menu screen puts the gang in the middle of Egypt. They can basically go in 3 different directions to explore: to the Sphinx, to the pyramids, or to the bazaar. Not the easiest software to learn to use. Big download to make it Vista compatible. Need to insert second disk to get the second half of the art work. But it does work as advertised. I'd buy it again.

I got this game when I six and I still enjoy playing it even though I'm now eight. I totally LOVE this game and so does my 10 year old cousin. You can choose the background to be an award show to a romantic dream date. there are 3 girls to choose from. The nail polish studio has different unique colors and patterns.The nail studio even has different manicures! At the makeup place, you can put eyeshadow on, brush blush onto her cheeks, and put lipstick on her lips. Then at the hair Salon, you can choose from great hairstyles, color of hair, and hair decorations. Next is the fancy dresses , then casual clothing. Then jewelery. Finally, you get to see a video . It's a great game if you like dress up and makeovers.
