I've had two versions of this program and they've both served me admirably. They are a bit quirky in that, occasionally, some steps are illogical and non-intuitive (like it was a bit sloppily designed), but once you figure those out, it's pretty smooth sailing.

Timely invoicing is a crucial part of any business (it had better be, or you shouldn't BE in business), and this program makes it a snap to crank one out. Very customizable, easy to use, and it generates a ton of aggregated reports with a few clicks so you always know where you stand on any number of key measures.

I'm not sure what one review was referring to when it said this was a dog (especially since the reviewer was completely non-specific in their critique). ... Read More:

From my experience just about all support calls are routed off shore.
Most of the tech support staff just take your question and type it into their work station. They say "May I put you on hold while I check my resources". Then they read answers off their screen. Several times I had to say to the tech - I can't understand your English. If you buy the package I'd find a local QB certified accountant and pay him/her for their time.

QuickBooks Pro 2004

I have been running Quickbooks 2004 for a while now. About a year ago I developed an error while using the "Ask a question" function. I contacted tech support, and they stated that I had to pay a fee to find out why their product didn't work correctly any longer. I checked, double checked and tripple checked that auto update was on, and manually made sure that my software was 100% updated, which the updater said it was. I recently did an internet search on my error and discovered that Intuit has a quickbooks / Internet Explorer "security patch" for this product. I downloaded this patch, which auto updater apparently is unaware of, and now the "ask a question" function works again. It is quite disconcerting that Intuit would charge me a fee to tell ...
