I'm very pleased with this product. It does not bog down my system as have previous Norton System Works products. I did have a problem with LIVE UPDATE. Turns out that Windows One Care was blocking it. Nortons tech people fixed it. My only complaint...the wait to reach a technician was LONG.

I have been a loyal Adobe Premiere Elements user for 3 years (version 2 and 3).
I just bought a brand new Windows Vista 64bit Quad Core machine, that I spec'ed to do High Definition Video editing. Everything works fine until I try loading Premiere elements. It totally locks up my computer. It looks like it works for about a minute, by then locks up solid. I've uninstalled and re-installed Premiere elements a few times, and even re-installed Vista (fresh install). No luck.
It doesn't even work in 64bit "compatibility mode", where it runs Premiere elements as an administrative program, and can run it like the OS is XP SP2. No difference. I then researched this program on the web, and found that there are a lot of crashing problems ... Read More:
(I just got this, and have played with it for about a week. In this fist part I wanted to cover the features for those wondering what this thing actually does)

software of this scope and customer base should be first and foremost user friendly. I used other CAD software before. i believe the developer should hire someone that would actually try to make this intuitive. This program is supposedly designed for a regular Smith to buy and help design his home and garden. It does not work that way.
Every little task requires a trip thru a whole lot of menus and sub-menus. It does not have to be that way. I struggled with the even most basic features - set up the size of your yard is a total pain.
This is a good software with the worse user interface I have ever seen. It has a feel of being designed in early nineties, not in 2008.
I should add that the plan selection for garden design is somewhat limited. ... Read More:

This product is much more powerful than my prior version of Access (1997) and is easier to do advanced things. I have been very satisfied.
A lot of people have said "I don't know what's the difference between this and the full (retail) version." Allow me:
1- This is about half the $$.
2- If you get the full (more expensive version) and the PC (or its motherboard) dies, or you just want to replace (upgrade) it, you can move the (expensive) copy of XP to the new machine. You are NOT allowed to do that with this cheaper copy. It is "tied" to one PC (or one motherboard, depending).
3- This is XP Home. Compared to XP Pro, Home doesn't have the Encryption File System, Group Policies, Remote Desktop (server), Dynamic Disk support, Disk Manager, IIS (bad web server), Active Directory, Domain Login, Roaming Profiles, and only supports simplified (network) file security and not ACLs. Everything worked out grandly. The shipping was as expedient as anyone could hope for in Iraq. Brand new game in box. Everything worked as I hoped. Thank you for your excellent service.

It's a good little game and has lots of replay value. It arrived in good shape, worked great, and I was creating cities in no time at all. It gets a little repetitive after a while, and I lost interest pretty quickly.

I've been using the Razer Viper(close to similar to all the slim line Razer mice) for a year, which I will be comparing to the Deathadder. I have been using the eXactMat w/ wristrest as well.
The finger positioning is considerably different, the Deathadder slightly raises your 2 front fingers and spreads out your thumb and finger that hold the mouse(speaking as a fingertip user). Although it feels a little bigger the size is a little more comfortable and gives more of a controlled feeling. Also the Deathadder has a very steep slope off of the back of the mouse even though the picture makes it appear like a much larger mouse with a big rear.
The weight of the slim mouse is so light that it couldn't be any lighter without removing essential components, which they may have ... Read More:
