Excellent guitar sounds. Strange that a function such as the tuner is missing in the VST mode. Wish that in stand-alone mode my Presonus Firepod could be used as audio interface because the Toneport DI cannot convince me and produces crackles (yes, I am aware of adjusting latency time and buffers, but proves no real solution).

As to amps and cabs there is not much to be desired, they sound very convincing. The same applies to the effects although the configuration is not particularly flexible. And there are always things you miss like a multi-head tape machine such as a Meazzi in order to produce those wonderful "Shadows" echoes. (Yes, I confess, I am that old!)

Apple Final Cut Studio 2 Upgrade from Final Cut Pro (Mac)

I recently purchased and installed the Final Cut Studio Upgrade. The difference from Final Cut 4.5 is amazing! The products in the suite are tremendous! I used the studio without a hitch for the first couple of weeks. A few days ago, I installed recommended Apple updates, and now all of the sudden, my serial number is invalid!!! I paid good money for a suite I cannot use. The Apple website provides no 'real' support. There are no email addresses, no phone numbers, and nothing in the troubleshooting that addresses my problem! The only potential support I can find is to purchase Applecare for Video. Why do I need to PURCHASE support when I already paid for the product. The product should work and the support should be included!!!

I'm just learning Music Theory so this is a little more complex than what I'm looking for right now.

I like the exercises and know they will help me when I'm ready, but I wish they'd make these softwares more fun. Yes, I am an adult but, why can't I choose the look of my tutor? The one here looks so somber, really old and depressing.

And since it is a software and it's in our technology, why can't the tutor talk. I like that better, the tutor speaking, telling you the lesson (like a real teacher in a class). Music Ace Deluxe and Harmonic Vision Music Ace do that and it makes learning more fun.

Anyway, there's a trial version for this, see if it works for you.

This is a good product, but it doesn't have the "Smart Eraser" or "Blending Brush" that the Free Trial has. I was disappointed. It really didn't have much that the free version doesn't have. But an easy to use and learn product.

This program does not come with a fancy video editor nor is it a suite of tools. That's why you get more bang for the buck. If you already have other tools, such as Sonic EMC or Premiere Elements you get video editors and other tools, but neither of those create the DVD as well as DVD Architect.

For example, Premiere Elements allows you to create automatically chaptered movies by allowing you to but chapter marks in the movie editor, but it does not allow you to create a DVD with more than one movie. It has a nice video editor, but a very weak DVD authoring tool. Sonic EMC allows multiple movies and slide shows, but does not create chapter marked movies.

DVD Architect allows both and a lot more. You add setups for sound tracks ... Read More:

Once I got the product working, I liked it a lot. However, it initially did not work and I had to download an update. My friend bought this as well but she just gave up. Once I downloaded the update everything worked fine.

I made the mistake of buying blind.... never again! My main problem wasn't really with creating the movie (which is still difficult) but more with the menus. The title pages to select from are terrible. First impression of a movie is from the menu. Not happy at all. Today I'm reading reviews to find another program.

Sibelius 5 Competitive Upgrade

All I can say is "DITTO" for the quality of this software program from the reviews I read before buying it. It is more than what I expected. I bought this as an upgrade to Sibelius Student and I think this is the least inexpensive way to get the full Sibelius version. What can I say? I am happy to the max.
