Sound Forge Audio Studio 9

I am using Windows XP Home version. Installed the program. Registered the program with Sony. Program ran OK immediately after installation. Tried to run in again several days later and got following error message: "This application has failed to start because AudioStudio90k.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

I re-installed the program, and it asked me to register the program again! Not knowing if Sony would let me register it twice, I took the "Register later" option. I was able to use it for one session immediately after re-installation. I tried to use it again [for a third time], about a week later and got the SAME error message that "AudioStudio90k.dll was not found."

Cakewalk SONAR 6 Studio

I wish i could have got the producer version for this price because it has the PSP vintage warmer($159)But at 40 bucks this is a steal, and your able to update to version 8 for $100. I've been using Cakewalk products since 2000, and they keep getting better. 1 1/2 thumbs up (only cuzz there is no warmer)

I have used the Sonic Foundry 4.0 Version of this software and decided to upgrade to this one. I have not used this version EXTENSIVELY yet, but from what I have seen, it looks to be almost the very same program with only a few changes. At least I won't have to re-learn the software! I have made VERY professional videos using the 4.0 version, so this version will only make them better! The Price of this Program is amazingly low compared to how much stuff it can do for you! I like the new Sound Effects that come with this version, although it says there is 1001 sound effects when it looks to actually be 969 effects. Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning

Despite the claim on the box that this software works with Windows Vista, it does not - Vista blocks it because it is incompatible and would create problems. And, because it is software, Roxio will not refund the purchse price despite their false claim. Do not buy this product if you have Vista.

Pinnacle Studio Plus Version 12

After downloading trial versions of Cyberlink, Corel and Sony Vegas I decided to go with Pinnacle, in spite of the years of bad press they've recieved on previous versions. You can't download a trial version of Pinnacle Studio 12, but you can see video's on YouTube. I could tell from the videos, that even though this may not be as powerful as the other products, it would be very, very easy to use, and allow me to finally EDIT my family videos from 1984 to the present.

With so much history to catch up on, I really didn't care that I could only have two video tracks instead of 6 or more. I mainly wanted to drag & drop, edit out all the boring stuff, make a nice front end menu with a music soundtrack in addition to the actual video soundtrack, ... Read More:

Final Cut Studio 2 is an inigma. On th one hand it has MASSIVE strengths and on the other it has MASSIVE weaknessess. If you are eperianced on other pro editing applications like Pro Tools or Avid you could experiance frustration ... as I do.
STRENGTHS
Final Cut Studio 2 has everthing you need to produce a great program
Final Cut Studio 2 ships with awsome content to get you up & running ... templates, presets, royalty free music and sound effects (lots!)
Intergration with the other programs in the suite makes Final Cut Pro do amazing stuff. Some great codecs too.
Apple listen to feedback (note the change in this review ... you CAN now zoom in on the cursor ... thanks Apple.)

Purchased the editing software for it's high def ability. Editing is simple to learn and use as is it's overall functionality. Adobe CS3 ($$$) blows it away, but PD 7 is only $100+. Had capture problems with Canon HV20. Cyberlinks forum is very helpful. Burns high def well. No install or operation problems on my Vista Premium HP machine. Download a trial version before buying. For me; very worth the $100. Amazon's purchase/shipping was easy and software arrived sooner than expected.

Guitar Praise By Digital Praise

Look, I don't expect that Digital Praise expected out of the gate to be at the Guitar Hero level. Give the guys a break. For a first release product this unit is incredible. For what its purposed for, getting some Christian Music in the gaming world it is spot on. The songs they picked are excellent, i'm very impressed. Its alright that the graphics are not "blow you out of the chair" quality.

The Quality is in the music and the game play and the fun you can have with your kids without worrying about them hearing about immoral innuendos time and time again.

Can't wait for the Rock Band Clone :D

Just bought a new Canon HG21 AVCHD and this software will not recognize it. Hooked up my older Sony Mini DV and it works fine. BEWARE! Sony claims UNRESOLVED ISSUES!

Though I've never sold a screenplay, I keep writing them, keep trying, and my tool is Final Draft. This is an awesome piece of screenwriting software, perfect for a screenwriter wannabe like me. I have been using it for a long time now. The software formats your screenplay for you in proper format, which is invaluable and it saves you oodles of time. It also comes with several other features that help you write the best screenplay you can. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to be a screenwriter, or already is one and worries about formatting.
