I use this product every day to monitor my teenagers when they are at home on the computer and I'm at work. It's sends me alerts on my cell phone that let me know when they are getting into trouble. If I don't like the web sites they are looking at, I can block them using a nifty control panel on my computer at work, and the computer at home will not display those forbidden web pages any more. Without eBlaster I would have to unplug the computer until I get home. I can also check to see of they were playing games or doing their homework.

(This is my first fully negative review of software. Normally I wouldn't bother anyone...)

Like most users, by the time you've bought a Vista backup program you already experienced or dealt with issues and solved a large number of them. I'm no different in that repect; my expectations are low so that I'm never disappointed. Well, I'm more than disappointed in S&R 2.

1 - My latest experience with my supposedly automated weekly backup to a 320 GB USB2 drive is fairly typical. The main programs I use are Iphoto and Itunes. Since Itunes is free (and if you have an Ipod, you have no choice), I'll concern myself with Iphoto and not rate the other programs in the suite. I have not upgraded to Ilife 08, nor do I have any plans to.

Although Iphoto is not free, a lot of programs rely on it (such as ComicLife) so not using Iphoto is almost not a choice.

First of all, if you have a substantial photo collection (mine is over 40,000 images), you need to have memory. I found that Iphoto was very slow until I put 2gb into my Mac Mini (which is the most mine will take). Now it's just a little slow. Second, Iphoto is VERY picky about your photo collection. This is one of the worst products I have ever purchased for a computer. My computer just got slower and slower every day. It doesn't even do a particularly good job of keeping track of your information. I found it dropped information constantly. I uninstalled it, ran a registry clean to make sure I got rid of all of it and cannot believe how much faster my laptop is. This is a real piece of junk. I am trying the RoboForm software and so far I think it is far superior and my laptop is still running great.

It doesn't even do a particularly good job of keeping track of your information. I found it dropped information constantly. I uninstalled it, ran a registry clean to make sure I got rid of all of it and cannot believe how much faster my laptop is. This is a real piece of junk. I am trying the RoboForm software and so far I think it is far superior and my laptop is still running great.

Microsoft Expression Web Upgrade

I purchase this after using Frontpage 2003 for what seems forever! I've gotten good use out of FP, and it has more than paid for itself. But I'm just not sure what to make of Expression Web. I installed it, tried out some of the learning tools, but it just didn't click. I currently use a program that costs me 1/3 the price and has all the features of Expression Web. I also continue to use FP for basic stuff, especially when I need straight HTML programming.

I've gone to MS website and read some of the tutorials, checked out their forum, etc. But it seems as if MS wants me to buy all these add-on's (like Adobe does) to get the program to do what it should already do. Personally, I think I wasted my money on this, and sorry I purchased it.

Perhaps Bitdefender was incompatible with my PC ----but is sure screwed it up--BIG TIME. It cost me over $100 to have my computer doctor to right the mess. I followed all the directions to a tee, and this security program just made more problems. Never again will I order this product. AMAZON was wonderful---refunded my money. THANK YOU AMAZON!!!
