I have used their products in the past and have always been pleased with the functionality and ability to quickly get site-maps in motion. As a web / multimedia developer I highly recommend this app! Using Adobe Illustrator just isn't as practical and efficient. The number of free Stencils you can download makes this a very handy tool in your library. If you aren't sure about it, go to the site and try the demo, you will be pleasantly surprised!

I'm Dave van Toor, the North American General Manager for the CRM Solutions group at Sage Software. I've been in this role since April this year. It is interesting to me that the first two reviews we have for our version 10 release (ACT! 2008) are from people who have not upgraded to the product.

Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 [OLD VERSION]

The Mac version of this program is TERRIBLE. It takes 3-10 seconds for each keystroke or command to appear on the screen, and I have a fast dual-processor G4 PowerMac. I'm amazed that this thing made it to the shelves in its current condition. And this is even AFTER applying the patch that's supposed to correct the slowness. I've been seeing reports this all over the net - dont buy this for Mac, as it's just about unusable.

I bought this but was unable to use it for the upgrade because I did not have a certain version of DW. It was a while ago, but I had to sell this one on Ebay and just ended up buying the Creative Suite. Dreamweaver is a GREAT PROGRAM though -- if I were just rating Dreamweaver, I would give it 5 stars across the board.

I'd love to give this product an full review -- however, after a hard drive failure I inserted the bootable disaster recovery CD (the product comes as a bootable CD) and guess what --- ITS CORRUPT!!! I've verified it's the CD (removed all other drives, etc) and it clearly is the CD that has bad files and such on it.

Avanquest -- putting the "K" back in Kwality for your disaster rekuvery needs. Back to the computer store to try a different product.

IBM VIAVOICE Standard v.10

I just purchased viavoice. I read what other users mentioned about usability. It is like any new program. It involves a learning curve. I had my program running on XP. I disabled security during installation and re- enabled after installation.. You just have to tweak it for your system. I called tech support and they told me I should have brought Dragon. I decided to stay with viavoice and after voice test the software recognizes your voice. It is a good program.

Installation on Windows XP Home Edition was not bad. At first I got a strange error when specifying the file name for a new vault, but on the second attempt the installation went better.

Anti-Theft cannot be installed on Windows 2000 inspite of the instructions for Windows 2000 on the paper insert in the product box: a message pops up stating that Anti-Theft cannot be installed on this operating system (only on XP and Vista).

The user must define one or more vaults (folders) protected by a password. The software encrypts the entire vault. Using the software, the user can export a vault to a RW portable media. To get access to an unencrypted file, the user must open the vault containing this file by providing the password. This works for ... Read More:

Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 7-User

Probably the most expensive of all - but also has the highest of ratings.

This is my second year using Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) and I am more satisfied than last year. This version seems to create fewer confusing situations and also appears to be stealth in operation.

I have to admit, however, there is a lot to this program that I know little about - but try and learn as I use it.

There wasn't a User Manual with the shipped product, but there is an easily downloadable version that you can obtain from Kaspersky.com I am one that would have prefered a hardcopy at installation - but loading and launching was a breeze!
