I got the tournament set for my birthday this year, and it exceeds all my expectations. The balls have some real heft to them, even the pallino, and the colors and designs are beautiful. My set came with a brief description of the rules and a diagram of a court, and the measuring tool is pretty handy. I highly recommend investing in this set.

This Bocce set is perfect for my uses,i.e. to have fun on the beach and on the lawn at home. At age mid 70's and a first teme bocce player I am enjoying playing with my young (very young) relatives. I can also envision plating it with older (much older) people who might find fun and therapy in tossing these lighter balls even from a chair!
I also find them very portable for those who can't lift much weight.
Not recommended for serious bocce buffs, however.

Decent bocce set, flashy colors, filled with water so they work well in beach sand. If the balls glowed in the dark then this would be the ultimate universal bocce set. Be careful not to hit rocks with the balls if you have a rocky yard....i am afraid the balls might start to leak; although no problems yet.

This product is fun for all ages of about 4 and up, and it certainly is durable. It is not quite as much fun as the real thing, but it can be played throughout the house. It works on some surfaces better than others. We left it out for the weekend and found someone always looking for a game.

This item came without any game instructions and looked as though it at been purchased, returned, and repackaged for sale. While the merchandise itself seemed in good shape, I was disappointed.

This bocce set arrived today so I haven't had yet played with it. I'm sure it's good quality and all, but, being a graphic designer, I am very sensitive to the visual side of things and THESE BALLS ARE NOT SOLID in color. They are marbled. I did not want marbled balls. I wanted pretty solid colored balls like the ones pictured with this item description. Hmph. Marbled is just so untraditional.
