When the helmet arrived, it was a beautiful chrome color with a shine like you woudln't believe. I tried it on and was VERY happy with it. This thing has a great fit and is very light in weight. The seller offered a hard-to-find helmet at an AWESOMELY low price and I was DEFINITELY pleased.

Since I have no intentions to take it skiing or snowboarding or whatever, I can't really speak for its quality as far as absorbing impact to my noggin. But it's a light-weight helmet that fits very well.

I bought the Giro G9 for a recent 5 day ski trip. I found it to be very comfortable- It was easy to forget you were wearing it. This is not easy to admit as I was quite reluctant to start wearing a helmet. The quick size adjustment mechanism in the rear was my favorite feature. It allowed you to quickly and easily customise the fit and made wearing a helmet liner on really cold days very easy.A couple of clicks on the adjuster made room in the helmet for the liner instantly. No more "too tight with the liner and too loose without it" compromises. this was the feature that put this helmet ahead of its competitors for me.

I've had this helmet (only a few changes have been made to the Giro 9) for maybe 5 years. I still love it. My boyfriend just bought this exact one last week, and so far he loves his, too. It's really comfortable, even if you spend all day on the mountain. SO MUCH warmer than a hat. I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about, there totally IS really good ventilation. You can take out the ear pads, and you just pop out the foam things plugging the holes and it's ready for a 60 degree spring day. Well made, it's a great buy.

Was a little concerned about buying a helmet online but I measured my head and ordered this helmet to use for skiing. It's great! Fit like a glove. Not too tight around the chin and comfortable. It has a great grove around the middle of the helmet for goggle straps with a strap that buttons on the back so your goggles stay on your helmet and don't slide around much when you're out on the trail or slopes. They will also keep you from losing your goggle when you take a break. It feels pretty light when it's on your head. Definitely one of my favorite Amazon.com purchases!

This helmet is not only the most bad-a** looking helmet in the whole mountain, it also has an excelent built in sound sistem. I was completely tired of my earplugs falling, so this helmet was the best solution, it even comes with a muting button, so that you can press it when you are in the lift talking to a friend.
