Moon Shoes - black

I got my first pair of moon shoes when I was around 8---and I LOVED THEM. My siblings and I played with them for many years. And the plastic IS VERY durable! We still had them up until 5 years ago when we decided to throw them out. The rubber bands are the only thing that doesn't really last, and I wish we would have taken better care of everything rather than leaving them outside to weather. You wear your tennis shoes, and strap yourself in with velcro straps (similar to the training roller skates that toddlers wear)

Imagine my delight when I saw them at the store last week (I'm 22 now) I'm even thinking of picking up a pair for myself! They seem like a good workout :)

I felt it was dangerous and did not give it to my grand daughter for that reason. It was hard to assemble and was not stable enough to be safe.

Pogo Moon Hopper

Ok, I am the generation who had this toy when it came out brand new and I absolutely loved it and am so excited it came out for my 5 girls to try. I used it constantly!! Of course the bottom did scrape up but it never broke or wore through. I think the lighter kids have more trouble getting a good bounce than the heavier kids. And I think this is easier to use than the pogo ones. And don't jump on it with wet shoes or feet! Good cardio and good to teach balance. I used it at around age 12. Never had trouble with the ball coming out.

Moon Bounce Ball

My grandson has Autism and one of his favorite things to do is bounce on this ball. He is hard on them and the Moon Bounce holds up better than any we have found. I love this ball because he does.

Sharkman Super Swim Set

My grandson, 8 years old, loves this swim set. The goggles work as well as any others and there is plenty of pretend play. Product seems well made and durable, though we have only had it for about a month. One disappointment was the squirting mechanism in the gloves. You fill a side pouch by squeezing underwater. Then you need to use the opposite hand to squeeze the pouch. The packaging description leads you to believe you can squirt water by pointing and shooting with one hand. Otherwise, we really like the swim set.

Licensed Deluxe Mask Set: Spider-man

My son broke it open and immediately put it on. I laughed so hard I almost broke my knee bending over to catch my breath. He doesn't care, he's got on Spiderman gear and he's three months away from actually swimming in a pool this year. I think it's a mistake to only have one squirting glove (what if your child is a lefty like mine?) but I suppose the manufacturing costs might have pushed this past the forty dollar mark at a retail store.

UPDATE: 07-June-2008: hot day at my sister's pool, my man puts it on, and they immediately prove... worthless. The flippers don't really flip, and the hand flippers are more of a nuisance than anything else. The goggles won't stay on correctly. The one web shooter does shoot this ridiculously long, thin ... Batman Deluxe Swim Set

Not really much too this product in terms of educational value, but it's more like just plain fun. The only thing I don't like is the way the feet straps come off with too much pressure while swimming. The little plastic clip designed to hold the strap around the foot will slip off. Probably why my son just uses the mask and the gloves. But, for the price and it's batman, it's great.
