it's comfortable, doesn't taste like plastic, fits well, has adjustable strings which have belcro at the end to roll them so thy don't get in your way. the sternum strap gives much more stability, but if you dont want it it can be removed. its easy to fill, and has just the exact cargo space for important things (cell phone, maybe an energy bar, air pump, and it can e adjusted to even take clothing such as a sweter and some pants at the same time).

I purchased the 2L Camelbak just before the 206 mile Seattle to Portland (STP) bicycle run. It was over 90 degrees F and there was no way I could have stayed hydrated using a conventional rack mounted bicycle water bottle. During a meal stop near Portland, OR the waitress filled it with ice water - SUPER!

This is my first experience with CamelBak and it is a good one. Pack is obviously high quality and roomy. Plenty of pockets, straps, etc. to stash stuff and attach helmet. Fits great on my back for bike riding, and the extra straps that go around your waist for stability are removable so they aren't flopping around if not used. I also like how they include Velcro stays that control excess strapping so it also is not flopping around. Perfect padded pocket at the top of the bag for my iPod touch. This pack will definitely last.

CamelBak Women's Charm 1.5-Liter Hydration Pack

I purchased this with the intent of doing 10 milers and half marathons in summertime Iraq, and its capacity is perfect. My aim was to have something to sip, to avoid that dry mouthed feeling, without much weight or inconvenience.

There is minimal bouncing, if the straps are adjusted well, and I hook the tube into the webbing on the opposite strap to keep it from bobbing around. The lack of a smoother way to take care of the tube is the only reason I can't give it five stars.

It rides very comfortably; I haven't had any issues with chafing, and often forget I'm wearing it (after the first 3-4 miles, once things settle down).

CamelBak Men's Lobo 3-Liter Hydration Pack

This was my first Camelbak. Got it a few weeks back at least. I have used it plenty. Great water capacity and functionality. Also good enough space for carrying items. I use it mostly for mountainbiking. Have had zero problems and I can actually see most any problem being an easy fix. The reservoir also has a lifetime warranty from Camelbak which is a definite plus!

CamelBak Slip Stream 50 oz Hydration Pack

I bought this for a 24hour mountain bike race where the laps were less than 10 miles long. Just enough cargo space for the, multitool, co2 pump and spare tube. The channels performed well and didn't overheat my back. It worked really well for the short distance, but I don't think i would use it for longer rides unless I was taking along a water bottle.
