As a chiropractor looking for inexpensive, but very effective physical therapy exercises for my patients, I use various types of balance equipment in my practice. I bought a number of these stability discs from Isokinetics to sell to my patients. So far, so good. I was a little disappointed that the color was PINK, not RED (less chance of selling to male patients, unfortunately), but they work well in any color.
I sell them for WEIGHT LOSS--by sitting on one of these discs on your office chair, you have to sit up straight, which will work out your core abdominal and lower back muscles ALL DAY--instant muscle activity=instant(gradual) weight loss! This pump is well worth the inexpensive cost. Not only can you air up your exercise ball (those foot pumps they come with take forever!!), you can also use it for your bicycle. It's fast, easy, takes up little space. I'm really glad I got it.

Isokinetics Balance Ball Chair - with Choice of 52cm Ball and a Pump

i saw this chair in a "ergonomic" product store, so got to test it first....then found it on amazon for 25% less.....everything about it is perfect. even the little pump works just fine. if you can, test one out because it is not for short people (sorry) because your feet won't reach the floor and there is no foot rest. otherwise...LOVE IT !

Isokinetics Fitness Ball Chair - with Choice of 52cm Ball and a Pump

After sitting for several months on a regular ball...this ball chair is great to sit on! I had no problems putting it together or inflating the ball to the correct size. The directions were easy to read and follow (the measuring tape for the ball is to be measured to the halfway point of the ball...not all the way around it). Once the chair was ready to use; it has been great to sit on. The wheels make it very easy to glide all around my cubical. Several of my co-workers have ordered one too. I would highly recommend this product!

Originally I was interested in purchasing a Balance Ball Chair, but at $70 and just starting out I decided to go with the Balance Ball Base, the less expensive way to go.

Not only does the base keep the ball from rolling while at your desk this unit will connect with an exercise strap for working out.

So for approximately $20 (Base and Shipping-shpg about same cost as the base) it's pretty worth it and very satisfied with it and perhaps even a better alternative to a Balance Ball Chair.
