The knee pads were a bit big. They recommended it with the youth helmet, which I guess they are, however, we won't be able to use them until hopefully next year. Great deal and I like the gel inside.
My son loves this bike! It wasn't the easiest to put together though. The directions were pretty hard to understand. But it's worth it when I see the look on my 4 yr old's face.
The bike is a great bike for those youngsters who want to ride hard but not do great distances. Our first order arrived damaded but Amazon quickly sent another and my kids were off and riding.

Mongoose 20-Inch Squid Unicycle
I purchased this for my 9 years old son. This is heavy weight to handle.
The tentacle frame's corner hits my sons inner knees.Assemble instruction does not mention which way to put volts, where to install 4 rubber sheets.we have to wait using this when my son gets taller than 5 feet.I am going to order the different 16"size unicycle.
This is a beginner's BMX bike and it is geared more for younger kids. The instructions are very confusing because they included every bike they make and it is up to you to try and find this bike and pieces randomly placed in manual for assembly. The breaks are not very good especially the rear breaks. Everything else is standard and nothing special. The packaging is not very good and my bike had a few dings on it. If you are looking for a first time BMX bike this is the bike for you, but if you are looking for a nice BMX bike I suggest you look else where. Remeber that you get what you pay for and this bike is a very inexpensive so good luck with your purchase.

My 4 1/2 year old absolutely loves this bike. It is very girly, with flowers on the seat and all over the frame and hearts on the tire tread. If you have a little "princess" it is just what she needs. The bike itself was very easy to assemble and is really sturdy. It is a pretty heavy bike, but my daughter doesn't seem to have any problems riding it or moving it around while walking beside it. Overall, my daughter and I both think it is a great bike!
I know others have claimed these decks break easily, and that may be true. But if you have a 7 or 8 year-old who isn't jumping yet but is just learning, this is a great buy. Our son is just learning balance and steering, and so far these have really held up well for him. They look nice, and he had some "extra" fun helping his Dad put the trucks and wheels on. So, if you want to jump and do tricks, listen to the others who've had bad luck. If you just have a kid who wants to learn how to ride and put a board together, it's great!

I bought this bike for biking to work and didn't want to spend a lot until I knew this was something I would stick with. Well, a month later, and the pedals are still turning albeit with new aluminum pedals. (I broke the pair that came with the bike on the third day. They were plastic.) I'm satisfied with the basic quality, but it's a definite "starter" bike.
Sure this bike probably can't compare to the more expensive bikes you get at the local bike store...HOWEVER, if your main use for this bike is commute, or the only surfaces you bike are on paved bike paths, trails with no more than 1-foot drops, then this bike will do the job to satisfaction. I am only getting into biking after many years of driving cars, so I'm still not 100% sure if I'm going to fall in love with this sport. Once I decide that I am really into this sport, and start going into the woods or mountains where I'll be taking 5-foot drops, I will definitely get a $1000+ bike. But I digress. This bike feels very solid, and so far I have had no mechanical problems whatsoever and I ride it about 45 miles a week on the street and bumpy trails. ... Read More:
