Deluxe Hockey Goal Set

We purchased this goal to use for both hockey and soccer in our driveway. My husband plays with our 3-year-old son, and he absolutely loves it. It was very simple to assemble and a great value for the $$ paid. I don't think it would work for soccer unless you prop it against something, though, because there is no way to secure it down so it won't fall over. (It's not really intended for soccer, though, so this isn't a negative in any way. Just wanted to clarify.)

Mylec Hockey Pro Style Mini Goal Set

When they say 'mini', they're not kidding! I bought this for my 4yr old son's birthday and it's too small for him. He's average height and weight for his age. Three stars - it's a great set for smaller children. The sticks are durable and the net is well built - assembly a bit of a challenge. I bought larger sticks - we use the mini net and the ball.

FOOTBALL GOAL POST SET

My 7 yr old plays flag football and is a HUGE football fan. This is just the right height and very sturdy. It is great for inside your house as well as outside. It fits nice in the living room when played with a soft football. Comes with a kicking tee and football. COMPLETE PACKAGE!!!

Mylec Junior Folding Goal Set

My son is two and loves Hockey so we had to get him this set. It seemed to be one he could grow with. The only con is that you neew two people to put it together you have to pull the net so tight and shove the pvc together at the same time. Even with that we have use it indoors and out. I wish it came with two ball though when he is just playing alone he spends more time chasing the ball around than hitting it.

MINI SHINI RINK MAT

This has been on our living room floor since Christmas (it's now April). My 2 year old son plays with it every day. Sometimes we stand at the blue line and sing the national anthem. Then, we pretend to be referees. Or we do drills "running" from line to line. Or we crawl around like a zamboni. It looks so authentic and is very easy to roll up -- although we rarely do that because our son would make us take it out again. It's a soft surface for any kind of play and very durable. It's one item I'll never regret buying.

ALL PURPOSE STEEL GOAL

I was surprised with the quality of this goal. We so far have only used it inside so I can't say how it is with wind or a super fast ball hitting it. But indoors it is great. Easy to set up if you follow the directions.

DELUXE SOCCER GOAL SET

We received this as a gift for my son who is 3. We put it together in less than 15 minutes - the instructions were clear, the parts well labeled and nicely made. The uprights and the base posts are filled with sand for stability, the tubing made from what seems to be standard plumbing pipe.

The football / soccerball is very light and clearly for young kids. The shin pads seem to be for kids in the 5 or above age range, and at this stage I would think they are more likely to be using a heavier ball than that supplied with the set.

I believe the goal would stand up OK to a "proper" size 3 ball if the base was staked into the ground, or the posts were cemented together with standard plumbing adhesive instead of leaving ... Read More:

Goalie Face Mask (EA)

Great for street hockey. Good straps and some padding as well. Also will work out well around Halloween time if you need a last minute costume. Overall, a good value.
