I like simple things that work. I don't need all the cool looks or the latest in style. Because of this I bought the Klean Kanteen. Its light fits into my bike water bottle holder great. With one use it got scratched pretty bad, but it was only $15.00...so I'm not complaining. The rest of it is very sturdy.
Prior to buying the KK I wanted to buy the Sigg bottle, but the cost was higher and it has a smaller opening for your mouth, which I didn't think I would like. This weekend my wife purchased the Sigg for me, as s gift, and I've been using it all weekend. It's now sitting on my desk at work and my KK is going back home as a backup.
The Sigg is just as light as the KK and holds more liquid. I don't think the KK had ... Read More:

We got two Sigg bottles and one started to leak. Customer service for Sigg was rude, accusatory and impossible to deal with. They blamed me for dropping it, putting it in the freezer, or anything they could think of. The truth is, that it is an inferior product. We returned it after much hassle and bought Greenfeet bottles instead, which are much better overall. My suggestion, stay away from all Sigg products, they really stink and are overpriced. Greenfeet offers a much better and sturdier product.

This is the only brush that works for full size Sigg bottles, you will have difficulty to reach the bottom of the bottle with any other brush. I use the bottle for baby formula storage during the day and it needs to be cleaned thoroughly every night. I didn't know that Sigg had a special brush for its bottles so I had quite a bit frustration for sometime trying to extend shorter brushes before I discovered this one :) Its a long brush with perfect fit to the bottle and comes with a little detail brush for the lid too.

As a concept, the SIGG bottle is great. The design is nice, it's metal (not plastic), sturdy, with a solid "looped" top. But in practice, it's not all it's cracked up to be. I've owned mine for about a year now. At first I really liked it and although I could notice a "unique" smell and taste occasionally, as long as it never got even a little warm (don't even think about leaving it in the sun), the flavor was minor. Over time though, It's gotten to where I can barely stand to drink the water I put in even if it's only been in there for 30 minutes.
My understanding is that SIGG bottles use a polycarbonate lining - This is what Nalgenes are made of! I believe they are exploring other lining options (after the brewhaha about BPEs), but I would ... Read More:

very expensive, as i read another review about the efferdent and denture tablets, though haven't tried them yet but there price seems very attractive and affordable for daily use, the use of sigg tablets will cost a fortune for someone who have more than one bottle and clean them every day

I bought this bottle so that my son can take it to school and he loves it! Turned out that a lot of his classmates also have SIGG bottles. Very light-weight, easy to drink from, and easy to clean.
this top leaks! I'am not happy with it, it is not as good as the top that comes on the kids bottles. Also having to push it in with your mouth to get out the drink is wierd! My son is the one who uses it and it has to be put in a plastic bag to prevent leaking in his backpack. If it did not leak I would have given it more stars!

I love the look of my three new SIGG bottles! They are very cool. Only problem is that it is hard for me to fill them with water if I use my fridge water. I have to use my finger squeezed behind the bottle neck to push up the little trigger to get the water to come out. Fridge's fault, not the bottle. On a regular fridge you just push the cup in and the water comes out, but on ours you have to push the cup in and up to release the water. I think we have a TRIO Kenmore. Ice cubes also need to be rinsed for a sec before they will fit in.

I bought three of these cups, and I like them for my 2 year old, but they are not appropriate for babies because there is no sippy lid. The spout pours water when tipped, making the cup useless for anything but water. I also don't like the fact that the dust cap doesn't come off, so my son always has to orient the cup so that the dust cap isn't hitting him in the face.
