I read some negative reviews saying that the pads didn't last long enough. I haven't had that problem, in fact, they lasted longer than I expected. I think that I used the first set of pads several times a day for several weeks before they started shorting out. I'm still on my second set and going strong, but I haven't been using them everyday this time. You have to remember to put the plastic backing back on them when you aren't using them. It says that in the instructions.

Its also true that this belt will not make you thinner or effect your weight loss. You have to be working on that separately, and then the belt is a good addition to your whole routine. I think that it helps your abdominal muscle condition if you use ... Read More:

I have used both a Gymbody and now the System Abs. There is no question these products do not remove fat from your body. If you've got a set of love handles or a full blown spare tire, this product does not get rid of it. What it does is help you tone your abs. From my own experience, I know it's true [as the surgeon who installed a PEG feeding tube into my stomach told my wife: "Your husband has the stomach muscles of a 20-year-old." I am 53]. Does it replace situps and crunches and exercise wheels? No. But it sure makes those things more effective. But here's my question: why is it cheaper to buy the replacement gel pads by the single-pack, as opposed to the three-pack? Not by much mind you, but still cheaper [as of 10.26.08].

i had my doubts before trying the product, but was actually pretty happy with it's performance. it is in no way a weight loss device, but i can really feel the tightening of my core muscles and the slimming, more pulled in, look of my abdomen. if you need to lose excess pounds, this product is not for you, but if you are already fairly thin and just need some help toning up then this is a really great product. it really does reach all your core muscles, much more than crunches alone. it helps tighten you up all the way around, stomach, sides and back. the only downside i would say is having to buy the replacement pads, but it's still a better deal than doing endless crunches.

I was so excited to get this set, and I also purchased the thigh and bottom shorts. Both were such a dissapointment. I used each one daily, sometimes twice a day, and it did absolutely nothing as far as toning, however, I did feel quite energized afterwards. The shorts we also very difficult to put on and remove. I was surprisingly pleased with how long the stick on gel pads lasted though.

I have used previous Slendertone electronic muscle stimulation (EMS) devices in the past and found them effective, but clumsy to connect / use. So, when I saw the price of the Flex Pro belt, I thought I would give it a try.

I have now been using this device for 3 weeks. My core abs are definitely stronger / more solid than before using the device.

Pros:
- It is easy to and quick to use. I was using the device within minutes of removing it from the box. I can now start using it within seconds by simply removing the covers from the gel pads and putting on the belt.

I am someone that is knowledeable about working out...what works and what doesn't. I am a newly single mom and still had the left over "baby fat". Since I am extremely busy, I thought this might save some time on doing regular ab routines. I was wrong! I put it on the highest settings and it still didn't compare at all to the kind of workout you get from a good ab routine...no burning or soreness the next day.

I love this product! The settings range from 1-99, so if it is too uncomfortable, simply adjust it to a lower setting, however, the sooner you begin using higher settings, the faster you will see results. After about a week, I was able to max my setting at 99. I use it twice a day 45 minutes at a time: once, in the recommended position over the navel and then again, slightly lower on my lower abs. I highly recommend this product, especially if you're a mom!!! It is not that uncomfortable if you visualize the results, no where close to your weakest contraction, but it will get rid off any leftover post-pregnancy flab:) I would recommend buying additional gel pads, so you will not have to break your routine to order more. Great product,at a great price,and a awesome workout.The Fortex,is no toy,it is a Push-Pull device,and it will challenge every fitness level.Try doing two sets of the eight exercises,and you will feel it the next day,I promise you.Its portable,light,and it will adapt to your strength,so Anatomical Adaptibilty,will not set in.
