Topeak Comp 130 13-Function Cycle Computer

I ride about 100 miles a week, and was looking for a simple, inexpensive cycle computer. The Topeak Comp 130 fit the bill. Installation was pretty simple (less than 30 minutes) and the computer does exactly what it said it would do. I've checked the accuracy versus known distances, and it's been perfect every time. I would highly recommend.

Topeak PrepStand Elite Bicycle Repair Stand

I bought this stand after comparing a number of other stands, including other various Topeak, Park, Pedro, and Spin Doctor stands. Most of the stands in the same price range accomplish the same tasks with the same ease; but there are a few tidbits about the Topeak that i liked:

1. it has nice heavy-duty aluminum tubing (the pictures don't adequately demonstrate this), which more than adequately supports the bicycle in its 360° rotation. i thought about building my own stand at one point, but buying this stand is definitely superior to anything i can fabricate from Home Depot plumbing parts. *laughs*

Topeak F55 Fixer for Phone Pack, Tool Bags & Moonshine 3H/HID Battery Mount

I bought these to mount to my seat post. So I can place my Topeak tool set on. So if I need some small tools while out riding, I have them. Works great.

Topeak Micro Rocket CB MasterBlaster Carbon Fiber Bike Pump

I was a little skeptical that this pump would work. But it works very well. It is light and even though it is a very short stroke, it will pump up a road bike tire solid in a short time. It also looks very nice next to carbon fiber bottle cages. With a pump like this, there is no need to ever leave the house without one.

Topeak BabySeat Child Bike Seat with Aluminum Rack (Disc Mount Version)

Even though my bike doesn't have a disc breaks I got this model to future proof my investment. It took me about 2 hours to install the seat, bike stand and rearview mirror (which I have purchased separately). The supplied instructions are pretty good and all the supplied parts fit together very well. I have used this seat couple of times so far with very good experience for both, the rider and the passenger :-). It is easy to put the baby in and out of it. The straps work very well to hold him in the seat. We have not used the foot straps since it seemed uncomfortable to prevent any movement and the way the seat is positioned on the bike and the shape of the foot rests it is hard to put his feet into the wheel. Topeak Front Bicycle Basket

This little basket is just what I was hoping it would be, and fits perfectly on my Raleigh women's comfort bike. I can snap it off to do a light run to the corner store and then snap it back on for the ride home with no need for the environmentally unfriendly plastic grocery bag. I worried that putting too much weight in the basket might throw my balance off when turning corners, but so far that has not been the case. The handle does rattle a bit when the basket is empty, but I keep it tied down with a cute little ribbon until I need to use it. All in all, it was a good choice.

Topeak Pannier Dry Bag Water Proof Bicycle Pannier Bag (1-Pair)

A few times when riding on the sidewalk at 15+ mph there were driveway bumps that made one of my panniers fall off. They feel quite secure, but are not impervious to shifting and bouncing. That being said, they protected all my gear inside very well, including my laptop! (which had its own protective case.)

They eventually get a bit scratched up from hitting bushes and things along your route, but that's to be expected. I still think they look great, they are definitely waterproof (Seattle tested and approved) and they have reflective markers for safety. Also, they are pretty easy to carry around when you get off your bike. They come with shoulder straps, but I haven't used those yet.

Topeak RX Trunk Bag EX

I originally ordered this bag because we had purchased the MTX DXP bag and loved it. Because we don't need such a large bag all the time, we thought that this nice, small, road bag would work for other times, carrying more than the seat wedge, but still a nice small size. We were wrong; it carries about the same amount as the Trek 120 seat wedge and takes up more room. We decided to go for the larger Topeak RX Trunk Bag with Side Pannier -- it's great (and add to that, we found it here on Amazon for half the price!) If you are thinking about ordering this bag -- order the Topeak RX with Pannier instead! You'll be much happier with your choice.

Topeak The Mini 9-Function Bicycle Tool

This is a well built tool, and it contains most things you'll need. It is on the bulky side though. There have been a couple occasions where it didn't fit the job; pedal work mainely. For the price its ok, but in hindsight I would have spent a bit more to get something better
