My son was really looking forward to playing with a real boomerang. This was somewhat smaller than we expected. After many different ways of trying to throw it and almost an hour, it still went one way only, like a frisbee. Needless to say, this was quite a disappointment for both my five year old and myself.

Toysmith Phlat Ball XT- Rainbow

My son really liked the ball, and still has fun with it because he enjoys the surprise factor of the pop-up changing shape. But two little disks that hold the "phlat" shape together on the outside came off within weeks of purchase, so I can't rate it very highly for durability. He still enjoys it since it can hold the flat shape for a couple of seconds, but hey -- it should have lasted longer than that.
