My 12 year old adores this set. However, he can sh0ot it hard enough to put the "safety" arrows through the amazon box that the bow arrived in. Or the arrow will travel over 50 feet if he is not aiming at a target. This is NOT A TOY. You could easily put out an eye with it. Under adult supervision it is a great deal of fun, but do not hand it to your kid and send them into the backyard alone.
It only comes with 2 arrows. Our local sport store had more, but at 4 bucks a piece.

When I first received the arrows I have to admit, I was astounded by the condition and the fletching of the arrows. The "feathers" were made of a material that in some way made the material stay together. Unfortunately though, I was disapointed by the fact the the paint scratches of very fast. I shot the arrows with a little apachi bow and when I went to retreive them some of the paint was scratched of entirely on one side!
Over all I'd have to give it a 4.5 star
P.S. It was a great deal for the price!

Bear Cherokee Bow Set

The title says it all. My son loves the bow. It's a little powerful for him, which is exactly what he wanted. The arrows started shedding fletches the very first time he tried them. And the finger grip is little better than stiff paper.

Nonetheless, for the money, this is a good buy.
