The sword it's self was in good condition minus the glue on the handle charm showing. The only part I didn't like was that the Tsuba kept coming loose. This is a shelf and cosplay item. As such it makes for excellent decoration! If you enjoy the anime Rurouni Kenshin or its forefather show Samurai X then this is the sword for you! Get it, you know you want it, what are you waiting for! lol seriousely though, it's a good sword and even with rough handle it can last a good long time.

Very good sword. Edges are slightly sharp (I was practicing tonight, and was experimenting and nicked the top few layers of skin on my left palm) but it's not sharp enough to practically cut someone.

Balance is a little off (a couple of inches above the hilt), but other than that, it is a very great sword.

This practice weapon handles very well and feels comfortable in my hands. Its weight in my hands is very comfortable. And I am able to execute all my movements easily with it.

This product works great. I mean you feel this working the entire hand and your forearms as well. The only drawbacks I think about this thing is that its really uncomfortable and I never really feel anything in my pinky. I feel all the pressure on my other four fingers though. All in all it a good hand workout and much better then other contraptions I've bought in to.
