The helmet fits well for my 3 year old and seems secure. The knee pads are ridiculously small and completely non-functional. They don't even fit my 19 month old who is only in the 50th percentile growth-wise. If you are only buying the product for the helmet, I fully recommend. If you want knee pads, don't purchase this set unless your child has stick legs.

Chicago Girl's Adjustable Quad Skate

My 6 year old was learning to roller skate this summer at our local skating rink. She loved it so much we bought her these skates for her birthday. She loves them. They are comfortable (more so than the rink rentals) and she can put them on by herself. I usually need to tighten them for her. They were perfect and at $30 I couldn't beat the price. Since they will grow with her, she will have them for a long time. Just a note that she has not used these on cement. She just wears them at the rink and in the house. So I can't comment on the durability of the wheels for that purpose.

I was hesitant about buying this because my son will just be 4 when he is able to use it, but it turns out that it is not too big. It is a little oversized, but I'm sure that not only will he grow into it quickly, but it will be a helmet that he can wear for a long time. The velcro pads inside the helmet (for adjusting the fit-pads - if you need them) were not glued on very well, but your own bottle of super glue can quickly fix that.

I picked this helmet for a couple reasons - style and price. I think it's a great helmet for the price. Not 100% sure it does the job since I haven't crashed yet; but I suppose ideally, I'll never find out just how much protection this helmet gives me. My only complaint is the "one size fits all" sizing. It does technically fit; but I'm a small female and this helmet looks gigantic on my head. I suppose if I had wanted to pay more, I could have had a custom-fit helmet; so overall, I'm happy with the product.

My God Son loved his helmet, he wouldn't take it off. Perfect fit he just turned 2 and I got the sm/med. Colors on the helmet were beautiful.

I assumed when I ordered these that they would have the 3 stage speed like the Playschool 1-2-3 skates, but they don't. Not recommended for a first time skater. My daughter is afraid to where them cause they fly.

Very cool...Heely's arent' the big, bulky, ugly roller shoes anymore. They've gone above and beyond to make these shoes look really cool. I wouldn't recommend them on long days of walking because the wheel makes the foot hurt after a while. And watch your little skater at first...These aren't any safer than regular skates just because they're a shoe; kids still slip and fall!

Bought this helmet based on previous reviews and Consumer Reports evaluations, and am very satisfied with it. Dollar for dollar, this helmet is a great value for those that are mainly concerned with keeping their brains intact in the case of an accident. You won't win any cyclist fashion contests wearing this one, but who cares ? It is light as a feather, well ventilated, and easily adjustable to fit your "grape". The only reason I did not rate it as five stars is because the chin straps that come down on both sides of the ears tend to "whistle" a bit in the wind as you ride..... not a huge complaint, but just enough to be noticeable, at least until you become accustomed to it.
