Now the tagline on this DVD is something along the lines with 16 top riders and a talented crew get together with one of the worst winters on record....not exactly the most inviting invitation to view a snowboarding movie. There are some great stunts, some fantastic photography and some inventive angles, but the lack of snow seems to have dented the enthusiasm of everyone. I'm a big fan of MDP, but really this is the result of a poor season of snow. Compare 'Picture This' with 'Follow Me Around' and it doesn't compare. Lots of pictures of snowboarders enjoying themselves (including Jussi Oskanen throwing himself 'gleefully' into the frozen Pacific off the coast of Alaska), and an inspired soundtrack - the use of Dolly Parton's 'Joelene' ... I got these to evaluate for work. The varying compression is unique but they have trouble staying up while running. Maybe they'll fit you better but are you willing to gamble $100 on it?

Giro Sestriere Snow Helmet

Was a little concerned about buying a helmet online but I measured my head and ordered this helmet to use for skiing. It's great! Fit like a glove. Not too tight around the chin and comfortable. It has a great grove around the middle of the helmet for goggle straps with a strap that buttons on the back so your goggles stay on your helmet and don't slide around much when you're out on the trail or slopes. They will also keep you from losing your goggle when you take a break. It feels pretty light when it's on your head. Definitely one of my favorite Amazon.com purchases!

Strong product - lightweight, bombproof, stylish and simple. Slash pockets are high on the chest - no "side" pockets makes it more minimalist, but sometimes frustrating to have something large in a chest pocket.

Men's Keen Targhee II

This is my 2nd pair of Keens. The first, sandals, have been everywhere from swimming in the ocean to going out to dinner and still look and feel new. I'm a hard to fit guy (Size 14) and these fit just right. Probably the most comfortable shoes I own. Pay the extra bucks and get good shoes. It's worth it.
