I purchased this washer a little more than a year ago, and once I got the bottom plate on correctly (which is not easy to tell from the documentation), it's been great. Several others have mentioned this, but you want to put the metal plate thing on so it bulges out, rather than in. If you put it on bulging in, you will hear TERRIBLE noises when you try to do laundry. With it in the right position, it is actually quite quiet.

I've had a few spills, but not due to anything the washer did--my sink was actually clogged or partially clogged and overflowed. This was not the fault of the washer in the slightest. People buy products like this because they're more rugged than putting a sock over the outlet pipe to filter lint out of the water and keep the sink from getting clogged. The only problem is the mesh is still too large, so lint still clogs the sink.

People buy products like this because they're more rugged than putting a sock over the outlet pipe to filter lint out of the water and keep the sink from getting clogged. The only problem is the mesh is still too large, so lint still clogs the sink.

I bought this washer 2 years ago and it is still working great. I had no problems installing it at all despite of the fact that I am a woman:-) It is big enough for 2 people and I had even washed blankets in it. It is easy to wheel it all over the place as long as you don't have carpets in the bathroom or the kitchen:-) I thought that it will be noisy but is actually quiet and it is easy to connect to the sink. The only problem I had (which is more of a problem with my sink faucet than with the machine) is that sometimes it leaks from the faucet but once I replaced the rubber circle inside of the connector it was great. But I've been enduring them for the past 9 years thanks to no laundry in my apartment building. However, with our first baby on the way, we finally decided we needed to try to find some solution so we wouldn't have to make daily trips to the laundromat.

As others have said, dings are pretty much par for the course thanks to the packaging inadequacies of the product. Ours arrived with a couple on the outside, and there was also a mystery plastic part that was in several pieces -- we had no idea what it was or what its functionality was, but since we'd already lugged this thing into the car from my husband's office and then dragged it up the flight of stairs to our apartment (not that the nine-months pregnant woman was much help), we figured it was worth ... I bought this machine from another vendor and really love it! It's compact size with up to 11 lb capacity (which is just right). I hate those bulky, super size washer and dryers, and this one is really a space saver. The control panel is easy to read and easy to figure out how to program, the installation doesn't need any professional help and the washing job is super too! The first time, I throuth in some of my son's dirty clothes coats and very glad to see it was cleaned very well. And the best part is that I can choose if I like to dry the laundry or not with just a button to press. Usually I don't use the drying part (I'm an enviromentalist), but if I'm in a hurry and need the clothes soon, I just press the dry button and leave, there is no need to take the laundry out from ...
