Used this spray gun to first apply latex primer and then sprayed on alklyd enamel paint for my trim in the home. Went on flawlessly with the 2.2mm add-on nozzle kit. Cleaned up really well with mineral spirits. I figured out how to use it pretty quickly. The recommended 45 psi was a little weak so I increased it to around 60 psi. I really love this gun!!

If you are spraying a latex product with an HVLP air sprayer, don't even bother with the 2.0mm nozzle kit - go straight to the 2.2mm Nozzle Kit. I have the Porter Cable HVLP air sprayer and I originally bought the 2.0mm nozzle and it would only work if I really watered down the paint. The problem with that is I hardly got any coverage and it was very runny.
So then I went with the 2.2mm Nozzle and I didn't have to thin the paint if I didn't want to. However, it did spray a little bit better when I added about 5-10% water and 10% Floetrol @ 45 PSI. The Floetrol will make the paint lay more evenly.
So if you need to spray latex paint, buy the 2.2mm Nozzle right away and you won't be disappointed.

Fuji Industrial Spray Equipment 2049F 6-Foot Flexible Whip Hose

This is not a good product. The hose loses its spiral integrity by only stepping on it. The metal connect is cutting into the hose only after a few uses. This is a $7 china special.

This is an amazing product. It performs as described by both the product description and the positive reviews. I used it to paint an antique metal lawn furniture set. I used an enamel latex paint that covered well and cleaned-up great. The simple design works great. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to paint small to medium jobs.

These mini-cups are great. I've had them for about 9 months and haven't use the full-size cup since I bought them. They are really convient.

Fuji Industrial Spray Equipment 9001-3 Aircap Set #3 for XT Spraygun

In comparison to the #4 aircap typically included with the Fuji systems, in my hands, the #3 aircap produced a dramatic reduction in "micro-orange peel" (apparently typical of sprayed emulsified water-based finishes?) Using my favorite brand of water-based shellac, lacquer and EmTech 8000 CV finish (Target Coatings), I found the cost of the aircap was well worth the time savings in sanding/buffing to produce a mirror smooth finish on my kitchen cabinets. Although probably sacrilegious to many of the pros, after three coats using the finer aircap, the finish was smooth enough that I did not even bother sanding out the finish on many of cabinet interiors.

Earlex HVLP Spray Station 3000 Painting System

I bough this tool for a variety of projects around my house, specifically painting about 14 doors. I am a remodeling contractor by trade and have used a conventional airless sprayer many times in the past but the mess and overspray were always troubling. My business no longer invloves painting but I was looking for a neat and efficient way to paint all the doors in my own house plus a variety of other small projects. Brushing 14 doors just wasn't going to happen. So far the results are better than one might expect for a tool of under $200.

I do professional prefinishing for new construction. We use our Fuji for whole houses full of trim and doors. The one time I had an issue, Fuji provided some of the best customer service I have ever experienced!

I bought this gun for my son as a present and now I love to use it. It sprays a good pattern and is easy to clean. Well constructed it's well worth the money. I guess I should buy one for myself and retire my old Binks 100a. I should mention that I've only used the gun with acrylics and Alklyd paints for woodworking projects. I don't have an opinion on it's use for an automotive quality finish.
Additional Comment: We've used the gun of and on now for six months and still like it. It's easy to clean. One thing I'd like to try is there is a .022 in. tip. I think this tip would be useful for thinned latex paints.

Fuji Industrial Spray Equipment 3003 Q3 PRO Quiet 3-Stage HVLP Spray System

I justified the cost of this equipment on a commission for 1200 feet of solid cherry baseboard molding and chair rail. It sprayed six coats of various finishes flawlessly. Sanding sealer, alcohol dye, stain, sealing shellac and two coats of water based urethane went on without a hitch.

Since purchasing two months ago, I have also sprayed acrylic latex paint on victorian gingerbread and railings, deck preservative on railings, primers on custom made windows and other various finishes on cabinets. This machine does it all and the other reviews accurately cover the features I like, too.
