The Makita BDF-452HW is a compact cordless powerhouse which rivals most mid-level corded drills. The lithium-ion battery charger truly charges the battery within 30 minutes by cooling the battery pack with its built in cooling fan when necessary. I've owned my drill for the past year and loved it so much that when it came time to purchase a new cordless drill for work, I immediately ordered this one.

Over the past few years I have accumulated a variety of Black & Decker 18 volt powered tools. Needless to say, the accompanied plug in chargers take their sweet time bringing the battery to full power. On average the batteries have required almost 4 hours before reaching full charge.

The Black & Decker 9.6-18V charger has been a welcome surprise. It completely recharges batteries in about 2 hours or less. This nicely weighted accessory is a time saver and a worthy investment that has more then paid for itself. I own two of these units and highly recommend this product.

This is a filter for a product that has to have it. The necessary evil is that B&D actually want me to replace this every whatever. Not necessary. Just clean it out. Otherwise, the money paid for new filters will rack up to over the price of the hand vacuum.

These replacement battery pack was just the ticket. I have all the
tools and charges I just needed fresh battery and when I received them
I just charged them up and they have been preforming great.

I have a lot of leaves every fall and needed something other than a gas blower. They are just too heavy for me nowadays. So I bought the Cordless Electric Broom from Black and Decker. What a great job it does even if they are wet on the driveway. I am really happy with it. I also just bought another one for my 84 year old neighbor as his gas blower was just too heavy for him too. I would very much recommend it to anyone who has leaves!

I bought this drill almost a year ago. I use it professionally (I'm a helicopter mechanic) and at home. This is a very powerfull and LIGHT drill. I replaced a dewalt 18v when I bought this one. There is no way I will go back to any other drill. I use it everyday, I even used it to put up a 12' X 21' metal building. Putting up the building did put a bit of a taxing on the drill, but that is a job that is meant for a screw gun not a cordless drill. It worked excellet though. The impact has worked very well for me as well, however I haven't put it through the rigorous beatings that I have put the drill through but I'm sure it would handle it's self in the same manor. The Firestarter batteries seem to last longer than the batteries that came with the tools (regular B&D batteries).

I purchased this Dewalt to replace an old Crapsman I've been unhappy with for a long time. I haven't used it a lot yet but so far I've had no issues with it. I'm still running off of the first charge on the first battery. I like the smart charger. Not only CAN you leave the spare battery on the charger, it's recommended you leave it on the charger to keep the battery's charge balanced. I like the torque. I like the easy to use chuck. It seems to be a solid, well made tool.
