If it was four inches longer and a little heavier weighted I'd like it better. But it does the job (aside from those four inches) and I'm glad I have it. Pay attention to measurements of your door and the door stop though so you don't wind up with one that is too short like I did.

3M uses Scotch for its tape and it is the only way to go. I once used some cheap insulation kit and the tape included did not stick well.

All my windows are non-standard sizes. This over size patio length allows me to cut down to the size I need with out having to tape two of the standard size plastic together. I do wish Amazon had this in the warehouse earlier than NOV. I live in Chicago and needed the plastic by mid OCT. The price is much better than buying it at the hardware store. It works great to cut down on drafts.

threshold was exactly what i was looking for keeps water and stuff out of garage, could have use a bigger tube of adhesive but everything worked well.

Works pretty well and relatively easy to install. I didn't use this product for my patio door, because I realized after purchase that I'd be unable to go in and out of the door(duh, should have thought of that). But did use it on windows too large to use the regular window sized sheets I'd also purchased. Although it hasn't gotten very cold yet, I have noticed a difference and I've already noticed a alot less drafts. Can't afford to replace windows right now, so this is a pretty good alternative!

I installed this on our metal outside doors. I replaced the existing magnetic weather stripping which the previous owners cut too short and therefore allowed air infiltration. This weather stripping was simple to install -- took less than a half hour including multiple times trimming a small bit at a time so that it wasn't too short.

A couple of installation tips. The manufacturer recommends using a utility knife to cut it to size. I found that using tin snips gave a nice clean cut through the magnet and vinyl. Also after installation, I was having a gap at the bottom of the door -- door warped, wood trim not straight, whatever. Never thought I could get this weatherstripping on-line. None of the BIG home DIY retail stores had it. So I was pleasantly surprised to find it at M-D Building Products. The price was excellent. I had to wait a couple of days more than I expected to receive it, but, hey, what the heck, it got here fine. Now I just have to make the time to put some around my doors. The winter is peaking around the corner faster than I'd like. I'd certainly buy from this supplier again.

3M 2120W Indoor 2-Window Insulator Kit

This is a very good window sealing kit for the indoors. I used this brand last year, paid a slight bit more, but the 3-m tape is so much better than others (except for maybe frost kings indoor kits). This is a single sheet of plastic to cut, can be a hassel, but with my smaller bay window area, it covered the 3 smaller windows instead of 2 standard windows for me. Lasted all winter. In combination with the 3-m outdoor kits, I probably save quite a bit last winter (so many fewer drafts). Check out the frost king indoor products as well.
