This item "works" but my dog does not like it - after a month of trying to get him used to it, he still won't let me file his nails with it. I will keep trying but I'm not optimistic.

I really don't see how reviewers can compare this laser level to similar "professional" ones.

After reading some of the raving reviews and seeing that the level was available real cheap, I decided it was worth a try; I thought I'd use it to help level some joists while refinishing my attic.

Unfortunately, the laser beam is very weak. It's never very bright, and rapidly fades away from the center. So while it may be visible out to ten feet (the product claims 20), you only get a visible line on either side of the center cross for a few degrees. Just a few feet of projected line seems functionally equivalent to a point.

I purchased this machine autumn 2007. We received 5 meters (15 foot) of snow last winter in Québec, useless to say that the snow thrower has to work hard! It performed well to clear the driveway (15x20) and pathway. Since we received that much snow, I found the machine to be limited when having to push the snow high enough to reach the top of the snowdrift. And when the snow is more dense, it's sometimes hard to push the machine through snow because of the large sidewalls (each side of the blade). This is more a problem because of the flimsy handle. At first I wasn't sure about a cordless but figured I'd try it and i'm glad I did. Its lightweight and very easy to use. The battery really lasts a long time. The kit comes with plenty of accessories. My only two complaints is that the accessories aren't really labeled so you have to play match the photo to the accessory. And my other complaint is that when turning on or off, the switch seems to be a little loose and it turns on to super high speed.

I used it to sand and buff a few things and it works super. Just make sure you wear goggles and have a good table to work on because the dust flies everywhere.

Other than those two things its worth having it.

I've probably had this even longer (3+ cars worth)but want to be conservative. I live near the beach and 3-4 times a week I'm deflating all 4 tires down to 15 pounds spring through fall, and later in the day re inflating them all. Thus I need a highly accurate, reliable gauge. This is the best one I've ever had. The battery still seems strong; readings are instant and easy to read. Only complaint is I wish it had a nub to push on the valve stem with to release a small burst of air, but I use dedicated deflaters so it's not a real issue for me.

Great product. It has a "kickstand" so it can be placed on a table or screws so it can be hung on the wall. The digital display is recommended for CO testers. You can change batteries without removing the tester from the wall. A leading consumer testing magazine recommended this one.

I often buy from Amazon because it is easy and usually cheaper. However, I found this item at The Home Depot (reg. 39.99) on clearance for 19.99.

Although this product is a bit delicate, it does a job on leaves, shredding them down to a fine mulch. This "weed-wacker" in a drum reduced all the leaves in my compost pile to useable mulch for my beds this fall and I'll use it to reduce this year's leaves into more manageable particles for composting this year. Just put it over a garbage can and you can easily transport mulch to any part of your yard. It does put a lot into the air, so protect your eyes.

Great convenience in a small package. The one problem is that the temper on the blade is not great. I used the blade to remove some stapes and I got big nicks in the blade. A cheap knife would have done better. It resharpened, but that is not the objective.
