This is the third time we've had to replace the garage door opener. After the first time it broke, Genie sent us a replacement and all we had to pay was the shipping. That one broke almost immediately, and so far, the most recent one purchased through Amazon is still working.

I have an Overhead Door brand opener. I think this brand is only available through independent dealers. My remote was 10 years old and I needed a new one. I was glad to find that this little remote would work with Overhead Door. I simply opened the lens that covers the lightbulb, pushed the learn button, pushed the remote control button twice within a few seconds of one another and it was ready to go. Works great. Verify on Genie's site that your garage door opener works with this remote before ordering...just to be sure.

After installing this door stop I am no longer having doors slam shut by the wind. The only criticism I have is that it is a little difficult to align the two pieces of the door stop during installation. The head of the post must be aligned to hit the center of the cup for the magnet to grip well.

The only set back is that I needed to make a difficult adaptation to our local hardware. No problem installing it with a non-English speaking wood smith and the product works amazingly well. Saved the family the need to carry bulky "keychains" and loosing keys.
