This bungee cord seems to be well-build and is very easy to adjust, so it would work well for a lot of applications. However, it does not stretch as much as I would like for the travel cart I bought it for. If you are looking to use this because you need a firm cord, this will be perfect (keeping the trunk to a car closed around an oversized item, etc). If you need more give in it, another type of bungee might be better.

I really like my clothesline! I hung it between my privacy fence and my deck, and it's the perfect spot for it; I like that when I'm entertaining, I can just let it retract and it's out of sight.

That said, it could be better designed as far as the retraction goes.

The problem comes in when you're not using the full 40 ft. When open and in use, you have to loop it around the little pedicle at the bottom of the housing to keep it from retracting and to keep the line taut. However, looping it around and keeping the line super-taut at the same time is nearly impossible, so the line does sag a little too much. Wow! These are much higher quality than I expected for the price. The hooks are a double loop which makes them more sturdy and without a sharp point. All of the bungees are very heavy duty and there are enough of them to put some in the utility room, some in my car and some in my girlfriends car (never know when you're going to need a bungee -- almost as versatile as duct tape). I am very impressed!

I thought that this might be a little bit better,because of the thickness. The first time I used it tied down tight on my trailer,it ripped as bad as some of the cheap ones I have bought. One trip and that was the last.
Why do they make these so thin? I would rather pay a little more and get one that last awhile.

I purchased this product to hold my computer in a desk-side mount for an IKEA Jerker computer table. The strap that came with the IKEA computer holder was, to put it mildly, pathetic.

The Master Lock strap holds the unit firmly in place without any loosening due to stretching in the fabric. In addition, the buckle hasn't allowed any slippage, even after holding the thing for a couple months.

It was simple to cut the strap to length using regular household scissors and to burn the end with a lighter to prevent fraying. Best of all, you get two straps for a pretty reasonable price.

OK, let's just say that the first time I hooked one of these up to my foot and jumped off of the roof turned out VERY badly (I FINALLY persuaded my wife to take that video off of Youtube). It's a good thing I was only on a one story house or I probably still would be missing my sense of smell right now. The title of this product does have the word "stretch" in it, but you should take that with, well, an extremely salty grain of salt.
