The scarecrow works. That is it works under ideal circumstances. We have a lot of landscaping and wind trips it too easy. It trips so much (when no animal is nearby) that the batteries run down and it is useless when it is needed. If you have an open area that you're wanting to protect it probably will work fine. However, if you have a lot of landscaping that you are wanting to keep dogs, cats and chickens out of, you may find it to be a disappointment.

Victor Electronic Mouse Trap

This is amazing. We get mice every fall and with pets in the house don't want to use poison so we have always tried MANY different mouse traps and always went back to the snap trap. Not this time. This is fantastic. We can put it behind the toaster on the counter because the mouse is fully contained in the trap. IT's AWESOME.

This product does not work, I tried this unit on small spiders (less than an 1/8" in size)and they just crouched down. The unit could not suck them up, and I'm really trying to get spiders double their size.

The area that traps the moths is quite small and I don't believe it attracts the moths as well as others I have used.

The product does what it says, but I wish the "zapper" was larger, like the size of a tennis racket. That would make it a little easier to get hornets and flies the first time. Good product.

This sucker is truly awesome at getting rid of annoying critters. I've been able to kill wasps, mosquitos, spiders, even large crickets, altho the crickets do take more exposure to shocks than the other smaller type bugs.

The weight of the handle and quality of construction will make you think twice about swinging it quickly to try and swat flies, but other than that, it's a great item and does what is says it does and slightly more. Like I said, I can kill a pretty big cricket with this thing, something I frankly know wouldn't be possible with a AAA battery model.

We have had tree damage and bird carcasses due to cats chasing birds; dead and contaminated plants and vegetables and an unusable lawn due to the amount of feces and urine. Projectiles and mouse traps didn't do the job. This product did. No cat signs! We have had it plugged into an outlet on motion sensor for less than a week. We had it on the highest settings and positioned the product at cat height.
I did NOT notice it going off with storms (we get strong windtunnels in our area). The directions state clearly that you have to adjust the settings to find the magic spot for the particular animal, as individual hearing abilities differ.

Victor Ultimate Flea Trap

I bought this item hoping to eliminate adult fleas from my couchs. My 2 year old was constantly getting flea bites, my husband and I frequently found a flea on us after sitting on the couch.
I eagerly unpacked and set up the flea trap. The next morning- nothing. Since I'd been spraying too, I thought maybe there were no adult fleas and left the flea trap plugged just in case.
The clearest indication that this trap doesn't work is that I FOUND an adult flea on my sock one night... quickly removed my sock and positioned it alongside the trap(practically draping it into the trap). The flea was NOT drawn to the trap and went away from it.

We live in a completely rehabbed 100 year old home. Every fall the mice come into our house, and we spend the rest of the winter getting rid of them. I've spent the last 8 years plugging every crack and hole we could, and our house is pretty buttoned up at this point. And yet, the mice keep finding a way in. I've tried a lot of other things -- the electronic gadgets, etc., but this product has been the first to keep them out !!

I'd give it a 5, but it ran out faster than manufacture suggested. The footprint of my home is 25x50 and I used up the entire 20 oz can in one shot.
