Dremel 761-03 7,000/14,000 RPM Cordless Pet Nail Grooming Rotary Tool

This item "works" but my dog does not like it - after a month of trying to get him used to it, he still won't let me file his nails with it. I will keep trying but I'm not optimistic.

Dremel 750-02 Minimite 13,000 RPM 2 Speed 4.8-Volt Cordless Rotary Tool

Purchased primarily to file dog's claws e.g. to shorten them so they don't become too long. Dog is long-haired and despite my efforts to trim hair in the vicinity of his paws, it seems as if I'd have to trim his legs an inch or more to avoid the hair becoming entangled in the rotating device. Neither he nor I enjoy that! Am hesitant about continuing to use it. About ready to revert back to the hand-operated claw trimer formerly used.

Dremel MultiPro Cordless 7700-02 20,000 RPM Two-Speed 7.2V Rotary Tool System w/50 Accessories

At first I wasn't sure about a cordless but figured I'd try it and i'm glad I did. Its lightweight and very easy to use. The battery really lasts a long time. The kit comes with plenty of accessories. My only two complaints is that the accessories aren't really labeled so you have to play match the photo to the accessory. And my other complaint is that when turning on or off, the switch seems to be a little loose and it turns on to super high speed.

I used it to sand and buff a few things and it works super. Just make sure you wear goggles and have a good table to work on because the dust flies everywhere.

Other than those two things its worth having it.

On 08/06/2008, I purchased these sander bands at the same time I purchased the Dremel 750-02 Minimite 13,000 RPM 2 Speed 4.8-Volt Cordless Rotary Tool. However the sander bands do not fit this tool. Amazon's Web-site did not clearly state otherwise.

This product is perfect speed for all my needs:

-- At the office to sand down patient toenails.
-- At home to drill, sand, cut stuff.

I love the increased number of speeds. I still have an original Dremel that works; at that time one had to go to Radio Shack to purchase a solenoid to control the speeds for different jobs. My father, a physician, got quoted $800 for that back in the 1970's.

This is an A+++ product.

I bought this drill press to drill holes in 20 gauge nickel and sterling silver jewelry pieces. It has exceeded my expectations. If you follow the directions and let the tool do the work, you will be very pleasantly surprised that you can add such a handy device to your workbench for such low cost. My husband, an engineer, was pretty surprised at how good it is, too. However, I had to ask for his help with assembling it, because the assembly directions were not the greatest, and I'd never done anything like this before. He had no problem with it, though. The metals department where I've taken classes has a Gesswein setup with footpedals and a Foredom tool for a drillpress, and it is loud, hard to control, vibrates like crazy, and is kind of ... Dremel 400-6/90 Variable Speed XPR Rotary Tool Kit With 90 Accessories

I use this tool primarily in my gun smith hobby, meaning metal finishing and wood work. The Dremel 400 series XPR rotary tool has some nice advantages over my older rotary tools. Its ergonomics are better and it has noticeably more power. If you've checked the prices of the attachments you can see why buying a comprehensive kit like the 400-6/90 makes sense. As usual, you have to remember that these tools are delicate and designed for delicate work. Used within it's design limits, you will find this tool to be very capable and will far outlast most of its competitors.
